I notice a lot of hate on Ware in here - am I the only one who sees him as a solid backup big?
He’s smart.
He’s usually in the right place.
He’s a good teammate.
He’s physical.
He doesn’t need the ball.
I see people saying Oyenso should have gotten his minutes, but I disagree. Fact is - because Cal wrecked us early again, every game the last two months was needed. There was no time to bring Oyenso along.
^ By the way, everything I posted above is taking these facts for granted (which needs to be said considering Cal’s silly use of bigs):
- As a CENTER - not a PF or with another center masquerading as a PF.
- As a rotation guy, use determined by matchups.
