Matt just saying the same things he has said the past 3-4 years after every season, "what used to work doesnt work anymore, Cal needs to do something new, and I think he can do it, I don't agree to fire Cal."

Coach K did that one year against Tubby when we came out and were lighting them up. Took his starters out, we didn't extend the lead, he put his starters back in, they go on to win by 8 or 10 points.

Matt did a good job of summing things up with just one thing I differ on. The problem is not fans being angry etc with the pressure being turned up next year on Cal….

The problem will be apathy. People including are just tired and completely worn out. The are just tired of false hope ending in big disappointment over and over. It used to be that the next big recruiting class brought a renewal of spirit to the fan base even after a disaster finish the year before. But that is gone when we don’t even know have recruits play and others don’t pan out like last year.

I’m telling you there will be a new level of disinterest next year and it will reflect on the lower attendance and even travel crowds. People are just worn out front to get excited and Cal has lost all trust that he can do anything to change that.

Agreed. I'm not even in a bad mood. I have more time to prep for my cruise in 2.5 weeks and won't watch sports until August. With cal as coach I knew 0% chance we made final four so no worries booking that weekend.

I agree, I'm sort of dead inside. I'm not even angry. I think I lost interest when I figured out that the Sharpe recruitment was a scam. That's when, like Neo in the Matrix, I saw the truth and it set me free. And I just don't care that much anymore.

Someone should post our fg percentage, ft percentage and 3 point percentage in tournament losses with cal. It's brutal. I looked the other day before this loss and his offense just chokes in March.

I totally agree. $ talks and bullshit walks and even the most staunch Cal supporters won't spend their $ next yr cuz once (or more) bitten, twice shy. Excellent point.

Yep. His butthole puckers up and we get 60-65 ppg in tourney play. We recruit horses if you're not going to run them.

Matt just said something that helped illustrate my earlier point about apathy setting in. He said this is a different set of callers tonight and was implied he was surprised there hasn’t been more anger.

im telling you that is because people aren’t as much mad a they are just worn out and tired of being leg down over and over in big games and seasons.

This apathy started last of season but was out on hold because of the likability of these guys. But this off season it will creep in much deeper
