Admittedly I haven’t watched much of the kings recently, but I thought the general consensus was skal was playing fairly well? Bizarre move if so.

Obviously Sacramento is "misusing" Skal.
Has he not been allowed to play his natural SF face up role? Obviously the problem is lack of teaching by Cal.
Lol Skal is my least favorite player of the Cal era.
It may sound rough but I genuinely don't care how his career goes.
He's also terrible defensively and REALLLLLY SLOW. He will not be anything more than a bench player in the NBA if that.

I agree that Skal's time here wasn't spectacular, but I believe alot of that was due to unreal expectations and the fact that he had to sit out his senioryear of high school. I actually am somewhat surprised by his 8pg and 4 rbs per game shooting 44%. I hope he gets more minutes in the G-League and continues to improve.

Exactly. That's why Golden State should force KD to play on the block and defend and rebound like a big is supossed to.Exactly! I mean, Skal is 6'11" and I hear he can shoot 3-pointers. That makes him the GOAT, right? What do the idiot Kings expect out of a big? Rebounding, defense, interior scoring? Come on, I mean the guy can hit a 3-pointer - what else could you want?
Seemed like he was playing to not get hurt.

Yeah, because KD isn't asked to do something he doesn't do. Y'all love the phrase square peg in a round hole, forcing Skal to play on the block or like a traditional big man is forcing a square peg in a round d hole. It's just not his game. Adapt to his skill set or have a severely limited big. But, is Kevin Durant a PF or a Center? His profile says he plays SF; and I see that in his last game KD had a triple double (35 points/11 rebounds/10 assists). I also assume that KD is willing and able to guard his position. So, it looks like he’s doing what GS needs him to do to make them a top team, right?

What KD is depends on what lineup Kerr is going with at the moment. When he goes with the smaller lineups (which, with the Warriors, is most of the time) he guards the Center or PF positions. But he starts their games at the SF spot.
Both of the Ws forwards epitomize the "position-less basketball" concept. Both KD and Draymond Green can be anything from a 3 to a 5, and can play all three positions in the same game.

Thanks. I don’t watch a lot of NBA games to be honest - mostly highlights. But am I correct that somebody (maybe multiple players) on that GS team is rebounding and defending in the post for the team; or does GS win without defense and despite getting killed on the boards?
