Look, change is tough.

I liked the old system where all good players got benefits under the table. It never bought us a title in football, but bought us some in basketball.

But the good old days of lying, tax evasion, and persistent fear of being caught have been ruined by a 9-0 Supreme Court decision.

Now financial support is open, taxed legally, and even allows a sizeable tax deduction for one giving/paying.

I don’t like the honesty, openness, or legalities one bit more than you do, CBB, but it is what it is.
