If you think runs are going to be at a premium, I think it would be a good move for UL.
In this situation, I think it's poor managing. I'd rather have bases loaded with one out against the freshman pitcher. Yes they still have a runner on third, but the odds of a huge inning have greatly decreased. I'll take it.

2-0 UL after 1. Pretty awful start, but not insurmountable. We need to start getting some hits and get into their bullpen, can't have 3-up / 3-down innings today.
We are probably going to need 7 runs to win this one. Need to get something going and put a little pressure on them.
Thompson is going to have to start throwing his curve for strikes or we are going to be in trouble. Right now his fastball is the only thing he can get over the plate.
The bottom of the 1st could have been worse but we need to start getting guys on base.

God, I hate UL. They haven't looked good at all lately, and of course today, they are making every play.
As a stl cardinals fan, I am dumbfounded at how ugly Louisville can make the cardinal bird.
It has the potential to be the best uniform in baseball (ala stl) and instead turns it into a f'd looking cartoon bird with bright orange 1978 houston threads.
