Hey, we're all Cat fans and we like talking baseball. I just happen to be in the camp that thinks Henderson has done well considering some of the inherent difficulties he's faced trying to compete in the SEC. It's not his fault he's got a facility that kept them from hosting a regional a couple of years ago.

I think he has done an outstanding job bringing in talent, but I don't think the teams he has had over the years, outside of two years, have been competitive enough. In 2013 we had 15 players drafted, the most of any team except for Vaderbilt. Yet, we couldn't even make the NCAA tournament. That just doesn't sit well with me. It would be like Cal recruiting these top players and making the NIT every year except two. That would be extremely unacceptable for UK. Granted, UK baseball has some disadvantages, but they certainly don't bother him when it comes to recruiting, or winning early games. Yet,

All in all, I would be fine with Henderson if he could improve his pitching staff and get more consistent. As I have mentioned, he is a pitching coach and yet we've never had a pitching staff, if I am not mistaken, that has finished in the top half of the SEC since his arrival here. Our best finish was in 2012 but other than that we have never even finished in the top half of the league. I guess that is consistent, but not in the right way.

I can agree total z77 with the support thing...Sincerely think it had a lot to do with Cohen leaving in that he got tired of all the promises and no action...It is a little like the football situation till the fans got fed up and stopped showing up...But unlike football the attendance at bb games is pretty anemic as it is...UK and the administration think about baseball the way the rest of the conference feels about basketball...Nothing to have 10k+ crowds at sec games in the south...Hell even Eastern Parkway U has a very nice baseball facility...
