Kentucky at Ole Miss Game Thread

Do you recall a player name Zack Edey?? I guess not! If you are talking about this season, Purdue has 1 maybe 2 fewer loses than Kentucky while playing in a weaker conference. Try harder because it will require that to achieve your agenda. Also, if your short memory is capable of remembering, Purdue's coach has been in place far longer than Pope which gave him a lot more time to develop relationships with the players he wanted/needed for his system. Pope had to pretty much take whatever he could get to assemble his team.
Holy Cow man. Why the smart ass reply? I've been pretty respectful to you.

Second of all, you literally said "name me a team that has spent as much time in the top 12 as UK, with so little talent" I gave you one… Purdue.

3rd, why are you bringing up Zach Edey? Nobody was talking about last year, that wasn't the criteria you set.

4th, you asked for a team, now that I gave you a team, you threw a bunch of new criteria out there. Seems like you were going to find a reason to shoot down any team that was suggested, just to win an internet discussion. There is no team that is going to fit UK's exact situation, but Purdue has better defensive numbers by a mile.

But whatever, you asked for a team that was less talented than UK that spent as much time in the top 12. I provided that team, you got upset.

They never looked as lost as Perry and Noah. Because of their lack of foot speed, I am not sure they will ever be able to play at this level. Their only chance is to find someone who plays a matchup zone defense to assist them when they get beat off the dribble.
You have no idea how these kids will develop and you're sensationalizing Hawkins and Miller, they weren't much of anything their freshman years, but again, you just want to win some weird internet discussion.

I will restate it. You named Purdue who plays in a much weaker conference with only 1 or 2 fewer losses and that wouldn't be the case if we weren't forced to play the last 3 games without a point guard. Again, you are working hard to hate on Pope and that is laughable.

It takes two or more to have a discussion of which you are a part of and is working very hard to win. As for me not knowing what they will develop into, the same applies to you.

I'm working hard to hate on Pope? Jesus man, get a grip, all, I did was say the word "Purdue"

This is some revisionist history as far as what Miller and Hawkins looked like as freshman. Miller was t actually good until he was a junior. Same with Hawkins.

Edey was a 3 star recruit. He was developed into a talent over time. Something you seem unwilling to do here because you think Perry and Noah are wastes of a scholarship.
Oh, what a joy it would be if every coach could develop at least one of his players into a 7'4" giant. You do realize that Edy's size makes him a standout. How many others has Matt Painter been able to use his rare skill on? Surely, there are other 3-star athletes he has developed into first round draft picks. All the development in the world would have been futile if Edy was less than 7'0" tall. Lol

I didn't say either were good. I said they were significantly better than Perry and Noah. So, if you don't consider Miller and Hawkins to be good, that should open your eyes to just how ill-equipped Perry and Noah are for playing at this level.
