* I just added to the gas prices thread.

$2.39 yesterday. I’ve found one super ghetto station that is significantly less expensive than anywhere else in town. No clue what’s going on there. Probably stolen, front for Isis, etc.

* Businesses still haven’t really gotten the “self check in” thing yet. Can we put Elon on this?

Ex: did online check in at a Hilton, waiting on a digital key, then got a “SEE FRONT DESK” error message. Total BS.

* Throwing knucks, even in a business setting, is one of the low key benefits of the COVID aftermath. Just so casual.

* Shared with some buds this morning: DMX isn’t a lyrical genius, imo, but “How’s It Goin Down” was a masterpiece.

I love the line about “gettin my bark on.”

Kinda wish I was single so I could bounce, and be like “yall have fun here at SlootAnth’s, I’m gonna head out to Two Keys and GET MY BARK ON.”

* I did. Down my leg.

* Friday 5:

Spotlight (David Allen Coe)
Bury Me (Jason Isbell)
How’s It Goin Down (DMX)
Carl Perkins Cadillac (Drive By Truckers)
Years (Sierra Ferrell)

* Braden Smith is transferring to UK. Believe me, I worked the concession stand and occasionally the clock at *several* 40-and-over church league basketball games in high school 30 years ago. I know wtf I’m talking about and you people don’t.
I’ve heard stories of those super cheap gas stations mixing water in with their stuff. May want to track miles per gallon over the next several weeks.

I got Leslie over Kilborn in a game of horse any time and any place. Other than that, I'd say Strokin has the right of it.

The line looks to be UK +5.5. I don't bet but if I did, my head says UK covers and Mizzou wins but my heart says we are going to beat them going away and Pope heads into the postseason with a good grasp on the squad he's got now.
In the driveway, I got Wayne Dougan over Leslie, kilborn, and anyone else who wants to step..bet.

Shorts:

- When the Cats are playing well and I trust our coach, March is easily the greatest month of them all.

- What an interesting season. Pope proved himself pretty early as a strong talent evaluator, excellent offensive coach, good prep coach and terrific in-game coach. So BBN felt our future was in good hands by December. We also remarkably raised our March floor so highly with big wins and our conference was historically great that despite the worst injury season of our lives and a slog through Jan/Feb, it was kinda low pressure. Not counting the lunatics, BBN seems pretty level right now.

- BBdK smartly points it out every year- adamantly pointing out tournament ceilings is foolish. Mid teams regularly make the F4. I think we’re a Top 8-15 team- as does every respectable poll, seeding and the computers. We can make a run.

- Chandler is great for a lot of reasons, not the least of which that he’s switchable offensively and defensively 1-3.

- Not mad at Thursday/Friday 9:30 tips. Everyone in the house is asleep and it’s PRIMO Dad Time. Just glad I’m not having to shoehorn the games in while working.

- Parker Posey in White Lotus is dream casting to me. Have always appreciated her work. “Fry like bacon you little freshmen bitches!” All-time 1st Team Sexy Voice.

- Being a husband and dad is pretty much hearing some variation of “can you/will you …” 25x a day the rest of your life.

- Headed to Ft. Collins in July to see the brothers in law. Never been- hear it’s a good beer-drankin town.

- I’d be more torn up about this Tiger news if I wasn’t also such a huge fan of the other 155 guys on the tour.

- Can you imagine not loving hoop and March is just some schinzo weather-teasing quasi Spring bullshit month? Like how do non-sports fans function?

wcc, I agree with you on the March- April bball. However, I have to add in everyone else not morel hunting or spring fishing. Perfect for you married guys that drink beer or not. Enjoy nature free from anyone or honey do’s, with the opportunity for a delicacy or fish dinner. If not, see free from part again.

First time I can actually say it doesn’t matter what we do in the SEC Tournament. We just need to stay healthy for the NCAA. If we’re healthy we can play with anyone in the country. 8 wins against top 15 teams validates that fact.
