While I agree, Cal's earlier classes weren't playing against super seniors with 7 years of experience, a mortgage, and three kids.
Not just 3's, our 2 HS All-Americans(Wagner, Edwards can't make layups either.
Edwards is just SOOOOOO WEAK he can't take ANY contact and Wagner can't get it over bigger players but continues to drive into them and force up shots that don't fall.
Florida is guarding the 3 pt line very well.
If Cal rolls out the same lineup to start the 2nd half that started the game it will be sheer incompetence at this point.
Refs are not our problem. 3 pt defense and poor shot selection is the reason we are down.
Plus Florida wants it more and is playing with more emotion and effort on defense.
We play 4 feet off the 3 pt line on defense smfh
Will be interesting to see the rest of season if Cal really wants to win games or it’s still just about showcasing guys. Bradshaw is a project. Shouldn’t play more than 10 minutes a game. Onyeso less than that. Edwards is deserving of only spot minutes at this point when Adou comes back. He has a team that can win a bunch of games. But it comes with starting Wagner, Reed, Mitchell, Adou, and Reeves. With Dillingham as the microwave off the bench. If he’s hot give him minutes. If not, sit him. The guys I mentioned at first of post provide rest or foul trouble minutes to include Burks. That team can win a national title. The team Cal feels compelled to play can’t win the SEC.
I agree. Its so dumb. The frequency of Kentucky getting home cooking is way lower than most teams. Most bluebloods get that easy but KY. If we could play defense and make layups we would be nearly tied right now

Florida as a team shoots free throws in the low 60 percentile. So there is nothing out of character or surprising about that. What about us only hitting one 3-pointer?

Game has changed too. You just don’t see a lot of those types of dudes. Sport is more now about efficiency and shooting than power.
I agree with most everything except that national title part. I don't see this team making it past the sweet 16 unless they grow up...a lot.

I agree Sheppard should be in the game but he was playing timid when he came in the first time.
Adou would have helped in this game obviously. He may have gotten some of Edwards minutes and when he goes to the rim, he is looking for contact
Agreed!!!! Cal will ride Bradshaw and Edwards though, it’s just what he does. He can’t help himself.
Officials aren't the reason we are losing. Defense, turnovers, and their absurd shots but it's like once they got to 7 fouls they decided well we've called too many on Florida better even it up. I hate SEC officials. Their isn't a group of people who are worse at their jobs than them.

I didn’t say it was, but Florida going the last 10 minutes without a foul is BS.
I didn't say they were. But it should be 2-4 point game if they blow the whistle.
