I enjoy hearing the lamentations of the Lulzville fans. They try their best to defend old Saint Neckbrace with their generic, North Carolina'esque "Everybody does it" excuse.
They try to tell themselves that the national media is picking on them because they're "big time", but they're picking on them because their coach has demonstrated in dramatic fashion why he is still the scummiest man in the collegiate football world, yet again.
No, linebeards, everybody doesn't keep a kid who was a solid commitment (to the extent that he declined all other offers and took no other visits) for 8 months, and 2 days before national signing day, pulls the scholarship offer from the kid.
Yeah, you offer your "gray shirt", and you act like that is such a redeeming fact to be heard, but no single person knows about the kid's financial situation. Maybe he needs a scholarship to play for the school that he wants to play for, you never know about a kid's financial situation.
The decent thing would to offer a gray shirt to the last player in line, not screw the kid over 2 days beforehand because you're importing a thug from the Big XII for the sole purpose that he was the defensive player of the year or whatever.
But Bobby Petrino wouldn't know the first thing about decent, would he? Such a shame that Lulzville screwed the poor kid like they did. I hope that high school coach's crusade is a wild success.

I wish somebody in the Louisville media had the nads to say that. They should get the journalist of the century award but in reality Tom Jurich would have them fired within 24 hours.
Nobody in Louisville will ever see that video. Tom Jurich will have it "blacked out" in DA Ville. Anyone who waches it, knows about it or even mentions it will get a visit from mysterious men in red and black suits and never be seen again. Pat Forde, Eric Crawford, Fred Cowgill, Rick Bozo and all other Louisville media will see the mighty bird signal sent out from the birdcave on Floyd Street and immediately write 700 articles about how Bobby is a changed man and John Calipari is the antichrist.........Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah--------------Sound Famiilar? Living in Louisville, I am actually now afraid for my life for having viewed such contraband.
I dislike Keith Olbermann and generally wouldn't watch him in the first place, but I dislike Petrino even more. Thanks for sharing.

What a piece of crap program, a win at all cost program. Willie Williams was vouched by Jurich and forced on the Kragthorpe crew. Jurich never explained or forced to explain by local media at time, Forde, Bozich, Crawford. Fired Krags and kept on with the Hurtt deal.
They don't care and just ask Mark Richt, TCU and other that they have mad fortunes on by taking transfers of other people's problems.

Anyone complaining about Olbermann being a liberal in this video has a very big insecurity about their life and beliefs. Don't even bring that up, he friggin obliterated UL. That's all that matters.
The sad part about all this is by next weekend, everyone will have forgotten this and UL will make out just fine. People have a short attention span and honestly UL isn't important enough on a national level for national writers to keep this at the forefront. They have much more important stuff to cover.

Maybe everybody does it. Maybe Saban gets a pass but you know what, it is guilt by association. Bobby has a reputation for being a piece of ethical garbage so when he does something that isn't exactly on the up and up, hes going to ripped for it and deservedly so. You can't get continue to live your life selfishly only caring about yourself and expect people to back you up when you make a mistake.

Exactly, several places might have done the late bait & switch grayshirt action, but noone but UL employs UL. You hire a scorpion you remove the ability to complain about being stung. The propaganda artists on local radio this morning were trying to make the point of hey, Petrino's job is to make the best team possible, and if he hurts some kids feelings then oh well. Funny that they don't realize the damage these actions are gonna have for their future recruiting prospects. It is day 5 and STILL just about the most talked about story coming out of the 2015 class.

I'm sure his character has already had some impact on recruits, but with the cutthroat world of recruiting, how many schools will make that video available if Louisville is on a kid's radar. I guess that is why they take the kids of last resort because they don't have any other options. "Bird Gang" is a fitting name for them.
