Kansas

Kansas 2020 played the toughest schedule in the country and won the best league. SOS points above avg team: +11.63 (1st of 353 teams)

Won its last 16 too when Covid hit. But yeah that season never happened, nah
Not according to Kenpom. They have Michigan with the toughest strength of schedule. Another site has you all tied with Mich St.

Also, the best league was the big 10. 10 of their teams were in Kenpom’s top 30. Big 12 only had 3 or 4.

The regular season happened, but you don’t get a championship for that, bud.

By all means, hang a banner that says we tied for toughest schedule in 1 metric if that makes you happy.

Pretty accurate description…..tbh they looked a lot like some of our recent teams when Cal forces them to play through the post with a lack of shooters and everything clogged up.
I love a really good post scorer. But I agree with you that without a couple of pretty good 3 pt. shooters, at least one of which is able to get his shot off quickly, the offense will likely be very stagnant. On the other hand, if you find the sweet spot with both reliable post and perimeter scoring, that’s an offense that’s hard to stop AND can have the consistency to put together 6 games in a row to win a title.

Naw, best team. Clean sweep of the polls and all metric systems. Doing it with the toughest SOS was icing
Best team is subjective to your own beliefs. Clean sweep of the polls and all metric systems isn't true. And I already demonstrated you weren't consensus #1 in SOS. Regardless, none of those things determine championships.

Feel free to hang a banner for it though, Lord knows you all have plenty of free space in your rafters.

And the beliefs of the pollsters, coaches, analytic sites, etc. Theres zero “subjectivity” here. But objective facts people and computers agreed on.

What would have happened in March is anyone’s guess. But consensus and Vegas had a clear favorite.
