Last nights game between the Knicks & Spurs, former UK players Randle 41 points, Quickley 36 points, & Keldon Johnson 30 points combined for 107 points. Got me to thinking about how many former UK players that played here under Calipari are averaging over 20.0 points a game this season.

SG-A 31.4
Davis 27.4
Booker 27.1
Randle 23.8
Fox 23.6
Maxey 22.9
Keldon 21.2
Herro 21.0
Bam 20.9
KAT 20.8

Then add in the fact that season before last Jamal Murray averaged 21.2 ppg. And that John Wall & DeMarcus Cousins both had multiple season over 20.0 points per game......Such an embarrassment of riches & only 1 national championship. If I were Calipari I would be ashamed to show my face.

Did they win us a championship?

The 2019 team will end up being his forgotten group. PJ, Herro, Keldon, Quickley, pesky Reid Travis, Hagans, Richards. Would have loved to see that team square off against Virginia in the Final Four.

I am as over cal as most people here. That said this thing where we pretend that these guys are the same players today as they were then is silly. They each had loads of potential. It is not reasonable to expect them to reach that in a few months in lex. Maybe he could have done more with them. I will give you that but prior to the complete collapse a couple of years ago I would have said give cal 5 of the guys you named an I would all but guarantee a title. This year I wouldn’t trust that group to do a layup line correctly.

Could have been. But with that very physical defense Auburn was playing, and not one single foul was called on them in the last 9:15 of regulation. Almost 1/4 of the game, and 0 fouls on Auburn.
Including OT, the last 14 minutes was 9 fouls on UK, only 3 on Auburn.

The 2020 team may also be the forgotten group, as they were playing really well but did not get the chance with the tourney being canceled.

Duh. Did they win us a championship? Cause we shouldn't give 2 flips what they do in the NBA.
Speak for yourself. I follow all of them in the NBA. I’m sure many others do as well. He never one time addressed college championships but you want to twist it into your own sarcastic agenda. A whole new topic not even being discussed. He simply pointed out a great night in the NBA by those three. Smh
