Kentucky is the only college program in the history of basketball that just...

Calipari now has the lowest title per season ratio of any our championship coaches. Tied with Hall if you don’t count the COVID season.

Will he go down as our 5th best coach, behind Tubby and Joe B?
Tubby was awful which is why he got fired several other places.

You can't expect that much performance at 18 years old. They left after one year and have been working on their craft. No practice restrictions. If they had stayed, things would be different.
Who is the man who based his entire paradigm on OAD players?

Good effort at deflecting from Cal, by the way, but he ends up losing at every angle of this.

And you're on the clock. Which of those players was not an All-SEC performer?

That doesn’t address what I said at all.

...had 11 former players finish the NBA regular season averaging at least 20 points per game in an NBA season.

Bam Adebayo - 20.6 ppg
Devin Booker - 27.8 ppg
Anthony Davis - 26.1 ppg
De'Aaron Fox - 25.2 ppg
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander - 31.4 ppg
Tyler Herro - 20.3 ppg
Keldon Johnson - 22 ppg
Tyrese Maxey - 20.3 ppg
Jamal Murray - 20 ppg
Julius Randle - 25.1 ppg
Karl Towns - 20.4 ppg

No other college program has come even close to that mark.

Yet, we only have one title under Calipari.

All that talent.

One title.

7 players that were on that 2018 team that managed to lose 11 games are currently on nba rosters. 3 of them(Vanderbilt, Shai, PJ) all start. And one of them(Shai) is a certified superstar.

I remember not being surprised at those seasons results at the time because i didn’t think that group was all that talented. Turns out they were more talented than i realized. I didnt expect guys like Gabriel, Richards, Vanderbilt or Diallo to hang around in the league that long. Nor did i expect PJ or Shai to be as good as they have been.

He is the 2nd best coach in UK history. Number 1 is Rupp by a mile. The worst is Tubby by 2 miles.
Tubby was ten times the coach Cal is. His downfall was recruiting....not coaching.
Saying Tubby is worse than Sutton or Gillespie says more about you than Tubby.

All stayed one year

11 years is a long time to go title-less. The kids recruited today were what like 7 in 2012?!? 10 in 2015. I have to think that has some effect on recruiting. For comparison, in their lifetime Uconn has won 3x, Kansas 2x, Villanova 2x, UNC x2, Duke 2x.
