I don't know how exactly Zion sees himself playing in college, but if he thinks it would be best for his skillset to have the ball starting near half-court, i just can't see it. It is true the kid can handle the ball nicely for a big dude with his size, but in college with not much shooting touch from deep, playing with a talent like Barrett would help open up his game and help him still get his while his jumpshot is missing in action. Barrett and Zion would make one of the most talented one-two punch in college basketball. Zion would open driving lanes and make open shots outside happen more often. Barrett would open the floor and make it almost impossible to bring another defender to Zion. Cal knows what to show these two elite kids to make them understand what they could do together at Kentucky. Duke is signing talented kids. I don't know why so many fans freak out about this. Duke always recruit near the top of every recruiting class. Until K decides to retire, you might as well expect this to happen. K is no slouch himeself. With as many talented recruits in each class, both Cal and K will always sign their share of elite kids. It is just how college basketball works the last couple of years.
