Agree about the shoe company BS but I'm sick of spending the time and energy chasing these type of kids while other players who had an interest in UK but were never offered a scholarship ended up slipping away.We have been after Brown for 2 years.What more does he need to know about UK?
We have seen the same scenario play out with Shabazz and Wiggins.They take their time and we end up letting some other kids get away that actually wanted to play for us.
If UK misses on Brown, hopefully Calipari stops playing in the Adidas sandbox. It's clear they're out for blood right now, and they're promising the world to the families of these kids.
Beilein is so awesome at developing talent, that all of his players except for 1 is shooting under 40% from the floor in the NBA and basically don't contribute anything else at all to their team.

not unusual for rookies and sophomores. Stauskas, Burke and Hardaway Jr were not even NBA guys according to HS scouts
Did James Young and Archie Goodwin even play?
Did you reveal the goat path yet to the Persian forces for promises of cheap women and wine?
Goodwin had more points in his last game than stauskas and GR3 had in any game this season. I'm sure GR3 did a good job carrying noel's bags this year.

I have gotten to the point where , unless they are posters with track records of being sane , if people even bring up the shoe thing i put them on ignore as that is so silly i dont know where to begin . WE might get him we might not . Regardless he ain't choosing due to damn shoes . He will go where he has the best shot in his mind to showcase himself and prepare for the 2016 draft. Period.

I am just wondering how long this will play out, same thing with Murray. These guys have been pondering this decision for years, why not just commit and get it done. I have followed recruiting for years, I used to really enjoy it but it has gotten really old here lately. I hope Brown comes to UK, I would love to see him play in person and see how far he and the rest of the guys could take us; but I am fine with Murray as well. Overall though, my main concern is going to be the depth of our front line, foul trouble will be our demise this year
You just listed 3 guys who went to UK and came out as first round draft picks.
One is one of the best players on his team.
Another is on the bench behind two star guards - who were also both first round picks from UK.
The other just finished his rookie season, so only the most desperate rival fan would use that as an attack point.
You basically made a great argument for UK there. Want to talk about all our starters and stars next?
It cracks me up to think that Michigan can compete with us in any aspect of this game called basketball.
Will the Michigan fans go to their own board please? I'm trying to be excited about this recruitment and they are just talking smack. I don't give a damn bout the offense you ply or the style of defense you may or may not play. Just let us UK fans discuss why we want Brown in peace without you all trying to pump the breaks. Just go get ready for football or whatever it is you do.
KU was only an outside threat for Brown's services. I'm not surprised. It's really been either UK or Michigan since he cut UCLA.
The animosity probably stems from a bunch of Kansas fans who came here earlier in the week trolling about Diallo. I've seen nothing from you yet to make me feel like you are here trolling or baiting or anything. I, for one, enjoy having a sensible conversation with a fan from an opposing fanbase, especially during a recruiting battle.
That being said, I do feel that UK offers Brown more in the way of development than Michigan does. Cal has a VERY good track record of developing kids for the NBA draft and getting kids drafted high. Not so sure that Beilein has the same track record really, especially not for wings. Also, on that note, I don't expect Brown to need much development. He'll probably be a top 10 pick on potential and talent alone, but playing at UK will get him far more exposure than playing at Michigan would and with our needs at the 3 spot, he will be front and center with Skal.

The state of Michigan other than Michigan State is irrelevant in every aspect of collegiate and professional sports.
