Jay Williams is a Dookie and is a UK hater and Cal hater. Most of the ESPN staff are Kentucky Haters and it drives me crazy to even watch them during a UK win or defeat, especially a defeat! He would say that about TA&M if Kentucky would finish 7-0 in the remaining SEC League games and goes 3-0 and wins the SEC Tournament and finishes 28-6 overalll including SECT and 18-3 in SEC. Jay Williams will not say one good word about UK or Coach Calipari.

You can't be serious. Jay is more complimentary of UK than almost any college basketball announcer out there. In fact, ESPNs commentators as a whole are pretty pro-UK for the most part (Williams, Bilas, Greenberg, Vitale, Farnham, Nessler, Kara Lawson, Rece Davis... all are very pro-UK). Go listen to Dakich, Len Elmore, Kellogg, Jeff Goodman, Parrish, etc and see how Jay compares.

Also, listen to Matt Jones' podcast with Jay and you'll hear his true feelings about UK and Cal, mainly that he would have played at UK if Cal was the coach here then. Also said that he would entertain the idea of coaching under Cal if offered. Take off your blue goggles and realize that people on TV can like UK without slurping them at every turn and thinking they're the best team in the country every single year.

Dont remember recruiting Jay Williams at all, that was the Bogans, Stone, Stewart class. We were way more on and waiting for Brett Nelson. Also seem to recall Jason Gardner from Indiana went to Arizona.

So yes J Will was a Kentucky lean go listen to the Podcast with Matt Jones. He actually praises the heck out of Kentucky and Cal and even hints if it were today he might of been a CAT playing for Cal. He loves Cal alot. I suggest you listen to that Pod cast. One of the better ones IMO.
