Probably played about as well as he is capable of. I don't know what the nerd numbers might say. But he helped us win today.

That’s not really fair. Does he sometimes have effort issues and takes some plays off, yes, I would say that’s true.
That being said, he also brings a lot to the table. He has a good defensive presence inside, when he’s out, we just don’t have that, at all.
He’s a good passer with good court vision, and even though it’s not a pretty shot, he shoots a fairly high percentage.
He has to be good for this team to be good.
We shall see...I want him to be more powerful around the rim. Be a 7 footer
Couple nice passes too. I like parts of his game but he needs to finish stronger and rebound way better. He is what he is though and we just need to make him and Garrison work. Fortunately they have proven good enough to best even top teams this year.

The guy averages 9 boards in 20 minutes a game. Those are Oscar level numbers. But he is not a good rebounder😂🤣!
Williams played better but our 7 foot center MUST get more than 2 rebounds for me to say he had a good hame.
Are you speculating or know that Pope handles things by promising unearned minutes?
Williams played better against lesser competition. We have seen enough what he does against better competition enough times.

I never agree with you, but I do here. Glad he did other things well today, but rebounding is the worst part of his game.
15-8-5 in 22 minutes. 8 boards in 22 minutes is pretty efficient.
I know his stats. 7 footers get 5-6 rebounds when they step off the bus.
He was out worked multiple times on the boards. It needs to improve.
Amari had his best game of the year. Despite giving up a handful of offensive rebounds. He played exactly how he needs to on offense. Some games he tries to do too much.
Florida also had (2) 7 footers.
Condon 10 rebs in 32 mins
Chinyelu 8 rebs in 21 mins
Amari’s numbers was on par with theirs.
8 boards in 22 minutes of play when they were hitting everything. Just take the L. You can't spin it.
Not to mention missed 3’s ricochet off the rim making it harder to gather.
There were all kinds of long rebounds and odd bounces. Our 2 bigs were a big worry for me but they showed me we 100% belong and can defintely make a deep run in March.
Stop. Ive already rewatched the game. He was awful on the glass.
He had a really nice game otherwise. Stop taking it personally. He needs to improve on the defensive glass.

Yes, all of our bigs need to work on their rebounding. Those two bigs outrebounded our 3 main guys 18-15.
I’m as positive as anyone about Pope and this team. If someone points out something that needs work it’s ok.

Williams best game as a Cat. He wasn't great but he held his own against a very big and physical Florida back line. That's all we really need from him. Garrison was the weak link today, very poor game. Carr again was a warrior, a clutch performer in big games.
