Jamal Murray

I pictured JM being a really good scoring 6th man in the league. But he’s about to be an all star. Hell of a player.
i figured if the game opens up he could be a poor man’s steph curry. which is what he is. but if you’re doing that in the playoffs you’re going to get a lot of shine. and he’s a lot younger.

If Johnson would've stayed & given us a post presence that team would've been dangerous. Poythress was the closest to a post presence we had.
That was the spring that we just got screwed in recruiting. Any of Jaylen Brown, Ingram, Swanigan, Zimmerman, or Cheick Diallo (or Dakari or Trey Lyles for that matter) could have given us that extra piece they needed to be a legit threat.

Yep. Dakari Johnson would've been that post guy UK could use to take pressure off Ulis and Murray. Shame that team was so good at the guard spot and just mediocre in the post/paint between Labissiere, Poythress, Lee, and Humphries.

Another gem by the committee that year.
Indiana won the big 10 regular season and was our 5 seed in the second round.
