So funny people on this board ( and this board alone) so worried about Coen leaving for the Rams, when the talk & rumors among real sports journalists this weekend is McVey might win Super Bowl then retire to relax & do TV ....

McVey retiring after winning the SB? I enjoyed that. He'd be considered crazy (except by sports journalists)

I'm very concerned that their rbs coach interviewed for the Vikings oc job. That's the guy most thought would be promoted in LA. If that was so, he wouldn't be interviewing for an oc job elsewhere. So there must be one or two candidates McVey is looking at and I am sure coen is one of them

I think Coen is top 2 or 3 candidates. Hope Stoops is lining up replacements. Hopefully we can keep continuity in the system if Coen leaves.

He never coached a snap at UK when there was a thread wondering if he was going to be lost to an NFL team because a McVey disciple was getting an HC job. We don’t know what Liam’s ultimate job would be. So, whether being an OC in the NFL is a good path to his dream or not is just a matter of speculation. Time will tell. I hope he stays, as that would be a good path to some great jobs, but it will be what it will be. I have never heard Coen discuss his dream job.
