Interesting Health Study

For probably some related benefits, I'm a huge believer in saunas and the health benefits. Every few months they find new positives for spending 20 minutes in a sauna for as many days as you can. Blood pressure, mental health, circulation, weight loss, detoxification, arthritis, muscle recovery, etc etc etc. The sauna has helped with a lot of skin issues I've had over the years as well.

So I could see how a hot bath might do some of the same.

"It is simply no longer possible to believe much of the clinical research that is published, or to rely on the judgment of trusted physicians or authoritative medical guidelines. I take no pleasure in this conclusion, which I reached slowly and reluctantly over my two decades as an editor of the New England Journal of Medicine." --Marcia Angell, M.D.

"The case against science is straightforward: much of the scientific literature, perhaps half, may simply be untrue. Afflicted by studies with small sample sizes, tiny effects, invalid exploratory analyses, and flagrant conflicts of interest, together with an obsession for pursuing fashionable trends of dubious importance, science has taken a turn towards darkness." --Richard Horton, Editor-in-Chief, The Lancet

Did a bad man touch you in a jacuzzi, Richie?

Soaking in a hot tub has many of the same benefits as a 30 minute jog. Probably doesn't do much for building muscle though.

Soaking in a hot tub with that girl would probably be the equivalent of a 30 minute jog for most guys except Rick "Fiftino".
