If UK wins their 1st three games (all at home) over S. Miss, South Carolina and #1 Georgia

Aint that the God’s honest truth?
We are the Rodney Dangerfield of CF.
In the AP preseason poll UK is the 15th team on the list of 'Others Receiving Votes', which means UK would be ranked about 40th. Wins at home over USM and SC are not likely to move the needle much other than jumping some teams right in front of you that lose. A win over UGA, which obviously would be a huge win for UK, is not going to vault UK 20+ spots into the Top 10. If your wins over USM and SC are blowouts, then those blowouts along with an upset over UGA might get you as high as 17th, as the other poster said. But starting 3-0 with an upset of UGA and 2 blowout wins over USM and UGA would certainly have national sportswriters paying more attention to UK, so if UK continues winning then the Cats would undoubtedly continue to rise faster in the polls from week to week, although undoubtedly as you get near the Top 10-15, movement will in large part be dictated by how teams in front of UK are doing.

Honestly, I wouldn't care where we would be ranked......but I can guarantee you that I would be shocked and completely insane with enthusiasm!

And let's be honest that it likely just wouldn't be 3 wins. If we beat USC and UGA then we'd beat Ohio as well......we'd be 4-0 heading into Ole Miss.

How high would UK be ranked in the Ap?
Top 5?

Not trying to be negative here, but UK has not beaten Georgia under Stoops and has only been competitive in (generously) three of those games:

2013: 17-59
2014: 31-63
2015: 3-27
2016: 24-27
2017: 13-42
2018: 17-34
2019: 0-21
2020: 3-14
2021: 13-30
2022: 6-16
2023: 13-51

Let's play a competitive game against them before we get too far ahead of ourselves.

I mean I don't think any logical UK fans think we are gonna beat UGA.

Please don’t take offense to ths. You are probably a really cool, likeable guy in real life. You probably bring energy into the room wherever you are.

I truly think you are more suited to post on Rafters.

I expect this years game to be more competitive for a couple of reasons. One, we have two former UGA players on our team from last year. Two, It's my hope those players can be like coaches on the field during game prep practices and the game itself by helping the team to know what to anticipate. Vandagriff has practiced against their defense and likely knows a lot of their wrinkles and can hopefully exploit some of them. Same goes for Dumas-Johnson, hopefully he knows UGA's offensive sets and can alert teammates to what's coming when on the field, then gets to enjoy a slaw burger, fries and a bottle of Ski after he leads us all down to a big victory. (I tried)

Also the game is in Ky, its early so the Georgia squad might be a bit complacent and UK has one of their better teams on paper. Plus that dang TE is in the NFL now.
If the line is anything over 13 Id jump on it.

Never, ever forget that OP has said things like "is it basketball season yet" regularly after a loss, and worse once said we wore our grey uniforms to honor the confederacy.

The fraud is back, baby.
