Nope. Insanity! Reed is clear cut our best PG. Not even close.Leave it like it is.

I like the spark he and Dilly bring off the bench, which is about 3.5 to 4 minutes in the game.
AgreeAnd Z over Ugo. Ugo started their comeback with that dumb foul.
Same here. And maybe psychologically maybe he can handle coming off the bench better. We need to get the best from everyone, not just a few. And Reed is playing as many minutes as you could want. He’s our best player all around.

It’s some insane logic to bench your best players to start the game you end up in a hole like tonightThis is just some speculation on my part and SIAP, but I think this is Cal's logic. At the beginning of the game teams are rattled and more likely to miss their shots. Do I have analytics to back this up? Of course not. Then around three to five minutes everyone gets settled down and plays better offense. I think by bringing in Reed (and Rob) at this point it messes with the opponents' heads enough to make it worthwhile.

Yeah let’s get down 9-3 and similar to start 2nd halfLeave it like it is.
Brilliant, Tums! Brilliant!Yeah let’s get down 9-3 and similar to start 2nd half
Cal is flat insane but I guess Klutch makes the calls
😂We start every game down 10 then he subs in the good lineup. It’s ridiculous and has to stop.
I believe it was 21-5 across the start of both halves before we made a substitution. At this point, what else does he have to do to earn it? I know some here think that as long as he gets the majority of minutes it doesn't matter, but I disagree.
Good starts can be what mitigates any run later on from the other team. Cal's lucky that Reed has no ego and comes off the bench without fuss.

And why is that? We would be playing for a 1seed right now, maybe even overall 1seed if it wasn’t for our slow starts/trash lineupsI don’t agree. I think it should stay like it is.
So is your argument that we should just sit him on the bench. Your post is a stupid attempt at making the people here look dumb for asking the obvious questions. Reed should start and everyone knows it but the coach. Reed is a totally different type of kid than the guys we had last year. If Reed is hurt you can bet its an ACTUAL injury not like the quitter we had last year who pouted his way out the door. Try again. The last few years, UK has had crippling injuries by tournament time from over-playing the stars. So, pick your poison. Gratification now or develop lots of players? If I know my RR posters, they want both. Fortunately they have a place to scream out their unhappiness.
