What's the answer when it's not possible to "adjust to how the refs are calling the game" because the opponent is permitted to be as physical as South Carolina without getting called for fouls?

No fouls on USC until 8:33 left in the first half. Our guys had no chance.

That was what set me off when the called Tre on that. They wouldn't have looked at it if not for him getting elbowed in the face.

You can't just "play better" in those situations, unfortunately. That's the point.

This is why people shouldn't overreact to a game like South Carolina.

At the same time, Cal's "rotations" were horrendous. Hopefully there's some value to the new guys feeling what it's like to be in a game called that way, but I'm skeptical.
