I love Tom Leach on the radio but I just watched the NC game highlights on YouTube and it reminded me how much I enjoy him calling our games.

I like Raftery too. Everyone is so sensitive about these TV guys. If they don't slurp UK 100% of the time they are going to be hated by a few.
Raftery is great. He’s as far away from being one that “roots for” anyone as I’ve ever heard.
Thing is though, it’s CBS coverage in general that’s great. Actually SHOW the game they’re covering and TALK ABOUT the game they’re covering instead of scroll bars all over the screen and all talk about women’s soccer, basketball, gymnastics, etc., plus - how long can you drag out the fact Jay Bilas likes Rupp Arena ice cream? ESPN and everything to do with that network is a complete and total joke.

Bilas seems a bit better recently. Possibly due to his idol K no longer coaching Dook and the fact he probably thinks he can do a better coaching job than Scheyer.😉

I kinda understand as it’s usually a big game and that’s what it’s a reminder of, but he’s a Duke/ACC shill and hates Kentucky. No thanks.
I wouldn’t mind if the NBA crew did all college games. Van Gundy is great too. In college I like Dane Bradshaw. You wouldn’t even know he played for UT if you didn’t watch him play.
Bilas would be pretty good if he could take out his Duke bias all the way. He’s good when he’s not doing their games.
I vastly prefer the CBS show all the way around. Especially during March.
Raftery is great and his isn't anti-UK despite other claims made here.
Bill is absolutely one of my favorites. Don’t understand the ignorance of some of our fans.
Whether or not he roots against UK the guy is really damn good. He knows the actual game of basketball. In the end that's all I really give a crap about is people who know the game talking about the game.

I love Raftery. You have to be looking for it to find anti-UK in his calls.
I’d take Al Maguire any day, over all of them…but he’s gone.
I was gonna say the same thing. Count me in on Raftery. I haven’t noticed clear bias. He is animated sometimes but not to the point of Dickie V.
Raftery is like a boisterous, favorite uncle. He's amazingly welcome when he comes around (but you're almost glad he isn't there all the time.).

I don’t hate him but to me Raftery is just Digger Phelps with less basketball acumen. Plus an added creepy factor a la “lingerie” etc. Then he takes underhanded shots at us not too rarely. Have no need for him to slurp us and have no need for him to like us. Just be manly about whatever you choose. Why be underhanded. For reasons like this a guy like Raftery is way behind a guy like Cowherd in my book.
The Al Maguire version WITHOUT Billy Packer. Packer was a tool of the highest order. The one guy who clearly HATED UK. Could not stand the man.
