They came to UK, gave their all, played their asses off. We had a bad night against a more athletic, cohesive team. I hate that it was against sorry ass UT, but unfortunately it did. These players and coaches deserve the respect and admiration of BBN. Unless you're a lowlife.

This is dumb. Tonight, they did not give their all. I am the biggest cheerleader of them all but I can’t get onboard with this.

Obviously you're not "the biggest cheerleader". They had a bad night against a higher seed, a more athletic team. They were better tonight. If you've ever played athletics you would know that sometimes you have a bad night.
I would agree if I hadn’t seen the first 2 games against UT.
Having a bad night is completely understandable but having a lack of effort and give a shit is a whole other situation! The effort was TRASH tonight and you can try to polish that turd but I promise you that it still stinks to high hell!

I honestly don't think it was effort, I believe they got frustrated and maybe even intimdated by UTs defense early and never got on track.

This was a fun team to watch this year and they got to live out the life of a Kentucky Wildcat and the fans embraced them. One of my fav teams in recent memory.

Not the way I wanted the season to end, but they were pretty fun to watch most of the year and did represent uk well. Good bunch of guys from everything I could tell.

You can say what you want about these guys but they saw playing here as a privilege. Great group of young men who cared about the name on the front of the jersey. Had some big time wins and memorable moments. As a whole, I don’t know how they can be remembered in a negative light. One game shouldn’t define what you’ve accomplished.
I think you can love the players, but also be critical of their horrific lackluster no effort, besides Butler, performance.
A blowout loss and a sweet 16. Straight up, embarrassing.
It was mostly effort. Go back and watch all of the standing around on offense and defense. Just standing and watching. That is effort because I'm positive they know better than to just stand in one spot. Makes them easily guardable and easy to box out and out rebound.

Well you should. Because the season is over. It’s no longer time to assign blame, post recriminations, or denigrate any player. It’s now time to celebrate once again a team of athletes who played for the name on the front of the jersey instead of the one on the back. It’s been far too long since that was true. Pope came in here with nothing and these are the players he could get, and between them we got the first Sweet Sixteen in six years. If you can’t get onboard with that at this time, you’re saying more about yourself than the players.
They opened a lot of games very lazily. I mean maybe not every player, I'll say. But on the year, guys like Amari and Garrison really played dumb a lot of games.
And I still contend that it was Pope who pulled this roster to the finish line.. most other coaches don't make the tournament with this roster.

I hope all the vitriol got it out of their systems last night. It was a disappointing loss but then for a UK fan they all are.
We had a great year for a thrown together team that had serious injury problems. This was a fun year with some great wins and this loss won’t take that away from me.
They gave their all.
Tennessee made adjustments based on the last 2 games. By the time we had enough evidence/proof of what they were doing defensively to make a counter adjustment, we were down 10 and played even from that point.
These guys over achieved and played without 2/7th of their lineup
