HUGE recruiting news coming..?

Not sure if this is semantics of the situation or not but Bagley is enrolled at Duke already. He can be enrolled and still be waiting to hear from the NCAA.
I'd like an actual source on this. I see that he is listed on the roster on the Duke athletics website and some articles making reference to that. But when did he graduate exactly?

How can he be enrolled at Duke without finishing his high school credits? I'm thinking in terms of average students and Duke is difficult to get into. Do they have no moral compass and just enrolled a kid with no regard to his academic situation. So slimy and pathetic.

I may have missed it but where has it been said he is not done with his high school credits?

"Bagley reportedly filed paperwork with the NCAA in late July to reclassify from 2018 to 2017, but that application will not process until Bagley's complete transcript is submitted. A source told CBS Sports last week that there was still coursework for him to complete. If that is the case, the NCAA has not yet reviewed Bagley's transcript. Once it does, the initial academic review process begins."

Maybe I'm misunderstanding people saying he needs 6 "core" classes before being eligible to play. Are these not high school credits?
Your confusion is that those 6 core courses must be completed in order to qualify. He may have completed none or some or most or all of them.

That's the general NCAA rule. It basically says you need 10 core credits completed by the end of your junior year and then there are another six you need after that. Bagley could have had 12 completed at the end of the year and only needed four this summer. Or any other combination. Also I believe the latest article on this was over two weeks ago before he moved in and started at Duke.

Gotcha. That makes sense. I guess I just don't understand how he can be enrolled at Duke without having finished all of them. I know that as a non-athlete, I wouldn't be admitted to a "very selective" college without finishing my high school courses.

If he didn't have all his course work complete (different than submitted) by August 15th, I don't see how this doesn't get drawn out for some time longer.

Ok I think you're right about him being on campus. There is a Duke 2021 class photo on Twitter and I think Bagley is in it. He retweeted it.
