I thought Harbaugh owned college football. Boys lets just restate this again. UK football just went into Michigan and pulled out the number one recruit in the state. Sure we'll have to hold him a long time but is there any question we are now an official pain in the arse to some of the big boys.
Jesus, I'm getting tired of seeing "hopefully we can hold onto him"
Naturally something that should go without saying. Like any sane person shouldn't have to say "Oh boy, I sure do hope that my house doesn't burn to the ground today!"

Earlier in the day Monday — before McCall’s commitment to UK — Rivals.com analyst Josh Helmholdt pointed out that Michigan did not appear to be “pushing too hard” for McCall’s commitment at the time, but he expected the Wolverines to get serious about his recruitment down the stretch, so that might be something to watch as UK’s newest commitment gets closer to officially signing with the school of his choice.

He's going to Kentucky as a DT, apparently, which is interesting. Doesn't really seem like the type of DT Brown really likes anyways (can't recall many 320 LB DTs that Michigan has pursued hard)
Yeah thats weird, tbh I havent followed him at all since we arent pursuing him, UM def seems to prefer to 280-300lb athletic DT as opposed to space eaters and it definitely shows in our pass rush stats

Harbaugh loses a lot of recruits. I don't see UM fans saying they fear the fire. Good points.
Well, I think we just found the stud nose tackle we've all been dying for! Holy cow, this is awesome! I love coming home from a hard day of work and finding wonderful news like this here on the forum.
BTW, perhaps our style of play is what attracted him to UK. I'm not sure what kind of defenses Michigan, Michigan State, etc run. But if he really wants to play on defense, then maybe UK is just the better fit for him. You gotta admit, he has the ideal build for a nose tackle in the 3-4.

It's a game a lot of these recruits play. Commit to someone and put pressure on a school you really want to offer.
Yes, but McCall already has the offer most Michigan kids want. Which is, Michigan.
If they are a 4/3 team I can agree with what their saying, but OTOH this guy is a Rivals Top 100 player and the #3 ranked Guard nationally. Is Michigan so rich with O-linemen that they couldn't make room for a guy with those kind of credentials? Sort of whistling past the graveyard if you ask me.
is that stement not realistic? We have trouble holding on to big time recruits. It is what it is. Even the big teams have trouble.
Yeah, I wish he hadn't committed. And no chance it helps our recruiting in the meantime, and of course we know he will decommit, we lose two or three every year------but those two or three are usually three stars that blow up after our staff finds them.

Well, let's just change our recruiting strategy and only go after kids who are sure to have UK as their best offer. That way we won't lose hardly any to another school.
You're missing somthing. I want the kid here im just telling a truth every school has problems with early commits. Has nothing to do with what you said.
You're posting on a discussion board even if you thought you were giving a lecture to a class. You will get responses, some you will like more than others. That's the nature of a discussion board. And yes your post did seem like you were trying to throw water on the crowd.
I'm talking about a specific poster that makes it a point to troll me everytime I say something no matter what I say. You don't know that because your foot is lodged in your mouth, I got this, I don't need any cosigners.
