Needs a job as a greeter at Walmart where he doesn't have to worry about stopping anyone. Very tired of coaches in team sports quitting with X seconds left on the clock at halftime or the end of games. Your players are there to play football. If you have a bunch of guys that want to be done with the game before it's over, put them on the frickin bench and get some players that don't want to have their balls handed to them...

Totally agree. If the last play wasn't something unusual, I have no problem with it. Why put the backups in to do nothing but take a knee? They practice. They want to get better. They want to show the staff that they can play significant snaps. Let 'em run the regular offense and it's up to the defense to stop them. If they were throwing deep from their own territory on the last play of the game or running a double reverse, that's a different story. But, an 11-yard run by the QB? C'mon, man. The defenders should also be allowed to play the team's defense and not some sort of matador defense. Play every play like it's the 4th quarter of the CFP championship game.

Yep. The guy that scored the TD had 6 carries all game...all in the last 2 series with under 3:00 to go in the game. He's a freshman RB and you want to see him play. No issues with it.

Unwritten rules in the coaching profession and this is one of them.
