But the football team has never and will never be a player on the national scene. In fact I think that it has peaked. I like to hear the Roger Hardens of the worlds thoughts and some others who played for the cats.

Is what makes MJ looks so bad is how he would've and maybe did get down on his knees for Cal when he first arrived. Before Cal arrived MJ dogged (no pun) the shit out of Calipari. Then once Cal arrives MJ treats Cal great and would go to war for Cal and then Cal starts struggling and MJ picks a spot, finally does his job, speaks the truth on some of Calipari bs and Cal can't handle the negativity and that's why he now has shut off from the entire BBN and acts weird and hates the media and fans. If he could win again then you'd see him come back out of his shell.

I saw it back in 2013 and 2014 when he was having a rough time but his whole demeanor changes on whether we are winning and he is getting love or if we struggling and the Media get in his shit he just looks worse than a night in a jail.

I’d argue that other than “keeping fans connected”, almost everything he does and says is negative when it comes to stuff that actually affects the team.

It’s partially because of him that the coaching staff and team have hatred towards the fan base. He also has contributed to referees having a vendetta against us. Say what you want, but Higgins has buddies in the industry and there is no way MJ’s actions and arrogant ways haven’t rubbed some of them the wrong way. Personally, I've traded texts with him on a few topics (it was at the beginning of Covid) and he's a typical condescending liberal. He thinks he's "right" and everyone else is stupid.
He also likes to play up his eastern Kentucky "roots" but trust me, he despises the political and social opinions/beliefs of everyone who doesn't agree with him.

He now has OVW with a Netflix series that will likely be hugely popular as well. He modelled the website off of Barstool not Outkick and MJ has stated that openly multiple times. He modelled the radio show off of Stern which he has also openly admitted. Smart and successful people see what works for others and then copies/tweaks it for themselves. There is no need to reinvent the will.

NYT Bestseller? Well, Donald Trump just released a new book and it's a NYT Best Seller. Hillary Clinton did as well. Everyone has a book out these days and they are all "NYT Best Sellers". It doesn't mean nearly as much as it once did. Publishing companies are very wise in how to create the illusion of a best seller. Do you know five people who have read MJ's book?
