I was just about to mock you about your statement but after a moment's thought I can't disagree with much of anyone else being a better head coach ATM.

We do miss KP's coaching up the Bigs. Cal has QUIT coaching and it is apparent after every loss against even mediocre teams and coaches. His past 4 UK teams have NOT improved from start to finish and they actually REGRESS by the time March arrives.

What is puzzling is how that aspect of Cal has changed so dramatically since the first 7 years of his UK tenure. Heck, he made JORTS into a serviceable Center that helped UK beat #1 OSU and UNC to get to the Final 4.

Cal has become FAT AND LAZY!!! But there is very little UK can do about it because of that AWFUL contract Mitch gave him!!!

Personally I think I could take any top high school coach in this state and win more games than Cal. The entire first half, no one but a butt on their man and blocked out. No one can stay in front of his man because they don't get down in a real defensive stance, they play defense standing up straight. 75% of the time our offense is just one on one I got the ball I am going to shot the ball when it is not in Reeds hand. Did you see how many times Gonzaga a less athletic team passed the ball in their offensive sets and how much off ball movement there was, and how many baskets they got at the rim. That is called coaching.
