Have you ever lost your champ in RD 1?

I didn’t pick KY 2 years ago, but I had them in the FF.

I think that the closest I’ve ever come.

How about you?

I used to think that would be terribly embarrassing (and it was nearly impossible). Now, it seems to happen more with more top 4 seeds going down on day 1/2.

I have picked Kentucky as my champion every year we’ve made the NCAAT with Cal except for 2023, so yes. Two of the last three seasons.

I can’t not pick us. Winning the bracket won’t make me happy if it comes at our expense, so I have to pick us.
