Thanks to all veterans for your service!

(I went to West Point in 1984 but didn't even stay for a semester, so that doesn't count. :flushed:)

It was a great honor and privilege to serve in the world's best Air Force, and always an unbelievable feeling of pride when serving overseas. Proud UK AFROTC graduate in 1978, Air Force retired (how time flies!). Many thanks to those businesses and restaurants for their many kindnesses extended to veterans on this special day. To me, that gesture is not expected nor is it ever required, but it is most appreciated. We are so lucky to live--still and always--in the greatest, most giving nation on earth and in the history of mankind. Of course, a shout out to my fellow 1978 graduates (by the way, possibly our last great football team in the fall of 1977). Sadly, not a year like it since in the two sports together, so a special time for us as students during our senior year. Bled blue then, and still do today.

Served with the 196th Light Infantry Brigade in Vietnam from 2/69 thru 9/70.

A true pleasure to serve my country and serve with some of the best I've ever met.

My avatar is a patch from the 196th.
