Pope’s five years at BYU are nearly identical to his predecessor’s last 5, record wise. There is no justification for this at all

I’m not gonna hate on Pope but if he is the guy then it feels like a panic move to me. I said a few weeks back that I liked Pope but to from Drew/Hurley/Donovan/ to him is a head scratcher.

I'm betting the Pope hire would actually help convince Reed to play another year, FWIW. I'd say Mark and Jeff are pretty tight.
I had heard that Mitch had royally screwed some stuff up but I never thought it would lead to this.
