I'll never refer to it as anything other than Commonwealth, but the fan yelling "YOU COME TO OUR GROCERY YOURE GONNA PAY OUR PRICES" was a solid line

I'm not a big believer in "if our opponent loses right before playing us then they will be so much more focused"- I think the league is just pretty tough from week to week- and I wanted UGA to get the snot beat out of them... sometimes if you want something done right- you just do it yourself.

Yesterday was never close- and the talent gap was noticeable. I still need to see something more from Leary and the passing game- but yesterday was Rays. I didnt know if he was going to be able to fill the shoes of some of the recent backs we had but hes getting better as the season goes on. He was so patient yesterday waiting for blocks and plays to develop- a masterclass from him and our defense. Brad White is going to be coaching against us soon, i reckon.

1- Michigan was a 17.5 point fav not 35.5.

2- Happy to hear beginners luck still exist

3- UGA plays to our strengths and that isn’t to say anything more than this is an opportunity that’s achievable!

4- I’m extremely comfortable with Leary. He isn’t perfect but he has something about him that doesn’t show up in the stats.

5- No clue what Ray Davis 40 time is, but he is an NFL quality back if it isn’t too slow which doesn’t seem possible.

6- Bengals gonna bust out and roll my titans today so whatever, but Miami/Buffalo is a must watch!
Not when I made that bet. It was 35.5 The game had already started.

If anything, I like Georgia pulling the win out of their buttholes yesterday. Maybe they will think they can just out-talent the rest of the SEC.

I'm not going to let myself think we can win but I do think we are going give them a helluva game. Our defense is something else and won't be bullied. Plus we've got an actual kicker this year. In other words, I'm in the Lloyd Christmas so you're saying there's a chance! mindset.

If Stoops leaves, I think Barnhart immediately hands the reigns to Brad White (as well he should.)

I have no idea how you can be comfortable with Leary or the receivers right now. Something has been off there all year and we are nearing the halfway point. I think they will eventually get it rolling but you have to wait and see at this point.

Can't wait for the Van Hiles breakdown. That's pornhub quality spank material this week.

IMO, Leary is pretty good. Yeah he goes bonehead sometimes, but Jesus, Brown and Key have made some ridiculous GD drops. The one in the endzone yesterday was fvcking amature hour. Just complete non-chalance/lack of maturity. Those two act like they really don't give two fvcks about the team. Dane Lemond, in particular...

It’s a two way street between Leary and the WR’s which I think is causing the issues. Dane gets wide open and Leary throw it 5 yards over his head. Leary throws it right into Browns hands and he drops it. Then Key drops one and it becomes a snowball effect. Game 6 and it’s no better than it was 5 weeks ago. Color me concerned because it’s the missing link for this team to make a serious run seeing the schedule that is ahead.

Leary probably overthrows Key/Lemond because he's, you know, SHOCKED STUPID that he's open.

Watched the game via YouTube Tv on my husband’s phone on the drive to Nashville for the Bengals game. Joey B rolling today would make this a peak sports weekend.

A whole lot of Who Dey already downtown in Nashville last night, including Who Dey chants in the bathrooms anytime we spotted each other. The Titans contingent seemed resigned to this state of affairs.

I’m almost 35 and I have seen so many UK-Florida games with a talent game like yesterday. I never dreamed it would be so heavily in Kentucky’s favor. Stoops has his flaws but he has defanged Florida, after decades of misery. I still can’t believe it. War damn Piglet.

Echoing everybody else, I am concerned about Leary and the receivers, and I'm more concerned after yesterday. I felt going into the season that this was going to be an area that was a strength and my questions were about offensive line, secondary, do we have a RB that can really replace CRod, and can we ever get a kicker of Austin MacGinniss level again. We've answered those questions like Good Will Hunting on a math test.
Leary shows signs, he has good pocket presence, arm is strong, he's made a couple of mental mistakes but he's been fine knowing things like time, down, where the markers are, when to get rid of it, all things that Terry Wilson struggled horribly with and we won in spite of. They have to figure it out NOW. If they can, this is the most balanced with depth UK team in my lifetime (too young to remember '77).
We shouldn't beat Georgia but it feels a little different this time. We haven't had a lot of opportunities to knock at the door but we've had a couple the last 5-6 years and that door is going to open sometime .

It's worth noting, that even that miserable, insufferable prick, (Vince Lombardi's least favorite all-time player), BILL CURRY, managed to beat Georgia twice.

If that ass-hat could beat them at a 35 percent rate, then it's entirely plausible, given how great Stoops is, than we can go down there and fvcking DO THIS.

-brown was talking major shit to the Florida bench before kickoff...and then dropped a gimme TD. Key isn't finishing routes.

^it's a sign of immaturity...they're kids so while it's irritating I don't blame them. The staff is at fault, need to jerk a knot in their asses. Talent doesn't mean shit if you don't put the work in.

-all of Leary's hype came from a 5 game stretch 2 years ago. He's fine...a high level game manager with *outstanding* pocket presence. He's gonna miss some throws...needs to clean it up a bit, but the drops are the major problem.

^the oline took a lot of shit for stuff that #7 did last year. I love Will for his toughness...but his pocket presence was *awful*

-uk is a good team. D is elite, ST is very solid and our running game is rounding into form...if Leary cuts the misses in half and the 6 & 7 get their heads right...the Cats are gonna be a *real* problem down the stretch.

-last thing...UF isn't a bad team, uk is just better.

Joey B rolling an ankle today would make this a peak sports weekend.
😱

-Great review of Leary, think Rudd nailed it.

-Meeting a a couple buddies at Minglewood shortly, I like it fine and all and like 80 I know the owners but Christ it’s every time he’s in town we go there.

Can we go get lunch and NOT have to listen to a 30 minute version of Phish covering Getting Jiggy With It and people acting like it’s good?

-Listening to the post game KSR podcast the next day is always fun, get that extra pep in your step as someone else mentioned.

I haven’t been this post game day happy in a while, feels so good.

Hey CAL! Your turn to get some ranked wins pal. Our GD FBall coach can do it, you sure as hell should be too.

UGA has lost a lot from the last 2 years. A 6 year QB, OC and like 9 guys from their defense to the NFL. So much parity in the SEC now. I think the transfer portal really has helped teams bridge that gap. With the exception of Vandy and maybe Mississippi State any can beat anyone in a given weak.

Georgia has been getting by this year on leftovers from the last 2 years. Their talent is down and they have an easy schedule.
Stop the tight ends and control the defensive line of scrimmage and we beat them by 10.
My only concern is getting a lead and then reverting to playing prevent defense giving the tight ends room to maneuver.
We can beat the Dawgs!!

Just saw Florida schedule next year 😂

If they don’t win a bunch of games this year, they’re screwed next year.

FSU
UGA
Miami
UK
Texas
A&M
LSU
Ole Miss
Tennessee
Miss State

😂 that’s a nightmare for anyone. That’s probably a 3-4 win season with the “gimmes” of Sanford & UFC.

The NFL is awful, but I've discovered a whole new world.
I had no idea that you can just bet, willy-nilly, all the way up until the end of the game. I just made fourteen dollars, making end of game bets, for instance, buffalo up 28 with 4 minutes to go, MGM adjusted spread is 27.5, Bills have the ball at mid-field. Chester slaps down 10 bucks on the fact they'll run out the clock. Winner.

That is FOUR AMERICAN dollars for the Clown. (but don't forget, that's just FOUR of my fourteen dollar haul, in the last few minutes)

Anyone have a real estate connection in Aruba? I might start looking around for a condo. Fat stax in Clown Town.

Joey Votto got tossed from the final game of his career today for arguing balls and strikes from the dugout.

[laughing]

Also: Tim Wakefield died today after a previously private battle with cancer, which that insufferable F stick Curt Schilling announced last week on his podcast, against the wishes of the family. I hope nobody ever wonders again why that a hole can’t get elected to the Hall of Fame.
