Yeah, again, not having a PG, much less the heart and soul of your defensive effort, is really starting to affect this team.
Not having a backup PG, who is probably the actual soul of the team, is crushing.
This is a tough ask for any coach, much less in this murderer's row of a league.

Now that they are keyed in on taking away the 3 from Almonor he’s pretty much useless like Brea due to lack of athleticism.
At some level, Pope is maximizing what he's got. We are currently starting guys from Farleigh-Dickinson, Drexel, and Dayton. Our 7th man just got engaged and looks like a Karate Kid villain.

This is going to sound weird, but - Tennessee game aside - teams seem to make an inordinate amount of open shots against us. Even bad shooters don’t miss. I know our defense isn’t great, but it seems odd - college shooters aren’t that good.
I'm glad we've got some Q1 wins in the bank, because I'm seriously concerned about the wheels falling off right now. Please prove me wrong.
