I don’t like that there have been three times on the break/in the paint that we could have dumped it off to an open teammate, but instead kept it for a bad shot or a block.

Not sure what was expected after a 10 day break from an ass whooping but the fact that Brown is competing is what I think we needed to be focused for Saturday.

Need them to have to work all 40 minutes today.

This GD smoke alarm commercial can absolutely go f*** itself.

Thanks for driving my dog insane every commercial break, dickheads.
My 14-year-old dog has gotten progressively more sensitive of sounds on the TV that never bothered her before. One show we were watching a character kept blowing a whistle over the course of the episode and I thought the poor girl was going to jump out of her fur each time. So annoying.

Wish we had come out and played with this level of intensity from the get-go.

Observations:

-Any time we play an undersized PF, Carr needs the lion's share of touches.

-Don't think I like T-Shirt Oweh.

-Think Butler's injury was more prevalent in the OSU game than we'd like to admit. Probably why that little chubby guard worked us.

-The freshmen are going to be good in three years. That's how all their activity should be judged.

-Bring on Florida and whatever stupid ass white center de jour they have this year.

-Bama and USC Jr can suck one.

Just don’t see it with chandler.
I kinda wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt that he has a lot of rust, learning his way on a new team because he was a highly rated recruit and has some athletic ability but we're not getting anything from him at all. In fact, it seems regression at this point. I think I'd go with Noah as the next option off the bench before Chandler.

Meh.
Long layoff after a humbling probably didn't help.

Let's see how we feel after the next 5 games.
Gonna see real soon if this squad can handle SEC caliber physicality.

Williams plays like he wants to be a 6 ft point guard. Go up strong for &$%@$ sake!
Not sure starting Garrison would be a drop off on either end of the court.

You could argue whether or not Beamer went a little overboard but you can't just let a guy show you up like that. Real bush league stuff from Bilema

From ESPN:

South Carolina coach Shane Beamer needed to be restrained from pursuing Illinois coach Bret Bielema during a stoppage in the third quarter after Bielema came toward South Carolina's sideline with his arms extended, a signal to them that he was not happy with a signal given earlier in the game.

Beamer and Beielema confirmed the dispute was over a signal South Carolina's kick returners gave on a third-quarter kickoff when a player gave the typical signal they would let the ball go over their head and not return the ball. But the Gamecocks not only fielded the kick, but tried a lateral play that ended with a tackle at the 25.

Beamer said he cleared the use of that signal with the Big 12 officiating crew before the game and that it was legal, as long as the returners did not wave their arms like a fair catch. Bielema agreed that returning the kick was not against the rules, but went against the spirit of using that signal to limit injuries on kickoff returns

Happy New Year!! 🥳

Made it through December with the Cats in the top 10. Actually enjoying basketball, without killing anything/anyone for a change, is a nice feeling. 2025 is just going to hit different.

Have been catching a lot of nice bass, crappie and sauger over the past week. Today was a bit rough with the wind and cold front moving in. Just had to tough it out since it’s over for at least 2 weeks. Gotta get serious about moving south so I can fish more. The Cats only give a little break to my sanity on sub freezing weeks.
