GYERO

I warned you f'ers what would happen if you legalized sports gambling. Y'all didn't listen. Now, everywhere you go on a Saturday or Sunday and say to a guy, "how are you?", this is their response.

"Not good man; I hit on Texas, but damn Kentucky and especially Notre Dame really let me down so I'm like 1-5 today."

I went to three parties yesterday and I'm not exaggerating when I say I heard that line or something similar to it 7 times.

I mean wtf... this is 50x worse than people talking about Fantasy Football and about as bad as all the tattoos.

America is cooked.

I disagree. Enjoy that type of conversation.

Kentucky is probably the 14th best job in a 16 team league now. The margins are razor thin year after year.

Disappointing nonetheless. Two All-Americans on D. Supposed WR talent. Coach who’s checked out. Going to be a long season. Luckily, we’re used to that here. Hope we don’t F around and have someone else hire Sumrall.

I could live with it if we didn’t pay the fat head $9 million per year. When you get paid top ten $ you shouldn’t be 2-28 against SEC teams with a winning SEC record, 2-8 in your last 10 SEC home games and look like an undisciplined pile of 💩 in year 12.

As usual, we are over paying a HC.

if I was Joe Craft I would be so pissed at UK football/basketball. That guy pays so much $ for some pretty good players.

All he has gotten the last 4-5 years is misery.

IMO this is what will bring NIL, as it is now, back under some control. There is no way that people, like the Craft’s, are going to continue to dole out that kind of cash for no/little return and for something with that kind of risk.

Saw this on the site. Thought some of you would like to see this.

I'll be ranking all of Stoops SEC games and listing them in terms of how good said SEC team was based on my opinions. And ill even take away his first 2 seasons; for his sake. Biggest takeaway; Stoops has beaten 1 SEC team over .500 in the last 6 regular seasons. 5 of his 7 best wins came 6+ years ago. He beat more 7+ win teams in 2017 than he has the last 5 full seasons. And 2017 isn't even remembered as a good season. And take away 2018 and his resume is just horrid against non-down SEC teams. Stoops has clearly fallen off. Anyone pretending his best is ahead of him has to just be using some insanely wishful thinking.

- What a familiar feeling- waking up on a Monday morning being disappointed by both my loser football teams. How some of you aren’t calloused by now is beyond me. I may be pissed but am certainly not surprised.

- How many times is the “team rallies around the popular assistant coach to get the now vacant head coaching job” successful? There may be no safer bet in sports than going against that. Speaking of, Marcus Freeman is a defensive coordinator. Hiring him instead of waiting for Luke Fickell was absurd.

- Besides my football teams, had a great weekend. Daughter turned 4 yesterday, benefiting with a weekend long celebration. Wife and I nailed the party Saturday. She had a wonderful time. Seeing your kids truly happy is the best.

- Bring on basketball. F these guys.

Piglet is washed.

If we didn’t beat UofL last year the fans storming the gates with torches and guillotine was ready. Alas, Ls down was a palate-cleanser and all was kinda calmed down but not forgiven.

Now this.

-Might have a tropical storm sitting over us all weekend. So calling the game off would be the best solution.

-At least with the Joker embarrassing losses we had shitty talent. This team has enough talent to be competitive. Not to mention, it didn't look like we were outclassed. USC sucks, too. It looked like we were a disorganized clusterf*ck. Was it 4 penalties on 4 straight plays or 4 of 5 plays?

-Figured we'd have a solid year and Stoops would move on in some fashion. If it's catastrophe, I'm not sure. He's not getting fired, that's for sure.

-John Schlarman won those games!!

-Re: Freeman -> Told ya so.

-Aside from all that Saturday was amazing. Weather. Tailgate. Just a solid all around day with the crew.

-Why are Nuthing Bundt Cakes so amazing? F*ck, those little bastards are delightful.

-Appreciate the B2BC donations. 15th year, that's wild.

With Joker, he was a Kentucky guy through and through and it hurt to watch him fail because it would have been so awesome had he killed it here.

I'm still on board with Stoops but the Wolford decision really troubles me. I mean how exactly did that happen?

- It's ironic that in most cases, a program's all-time winningest coach leaving would set the program back 10 years. But as SAE pointed out on X, Stoops STAYING might have actually set the program back.

- Speaking of which....if there was ever a time that a BMW was needed, it's now, bud.

- Not worried about Sumrall jumping to Florida. Coaching searches often have pendulum swings, so if they didn't have success with a mid-major HC hire last time (Napier), they'll probably go a different route this time (Kiffin). Which means Ole Miss would be open. THAT'S the one to worry about in the short-term. Also, Arkansas.

- Matt Rhule is a stud. Love the way he builds/runs a program.

- Tom Brady was....not good.

- I know nobody cares about baseballsucka, but those Jomboy breakdowns still deliver every single time.
