I never understood why you don’t have an athletic holder who has good hands, can run, and can throw. Like our backup QB or something. Having your punter be the holder never made sense.
I can’t imagine what play calling really consist of, but I’m pretty sure that 2nd and 3rd down call would not have crossed the most average persons mind.
