We know ONE thing; Pope is MILES ahead of Calipari, on how to run an eloquent/modern offense.

It looks like the three “home run” possibilities (Hurley, Drew, Donovan) were no-gos, so Mitch decided to go for a reach with (hopefully) big potential vs a safer - but blander - candidate. It’s an interesting approach. If it works he’ll be a genius. If it doesn’t he’s an idiot. No middle ground here.
