Used to go to the Locker Room back in the day as a LYSA competitor, but that was literally 35 years ago. I'm well aware they sell uniforms, I'm just absolutely shocked that a business like that is still around. I vividly remember it being very sterile and boring in there, even as a little kid. Kudos to them. Probably making bradyjames money.

Coyote is a strange word. Is there any other word where in the English language where you get a long i sound from "-oy"?

Also inspired by gyero today. Can retire at 55 with my health insurance which is 2.5 years from now.

Figured I will get out and put in for a position with brady, Inc.

McDonalds released 3 new chicken sandwiches.

The new option will be available in three varieties: crispy, spicy and deluxe (served with shredded lettuce, Roma tomatoes and mayo).

According to the fast food chain, the sandwich "features a brand new crispy, juicy, tender fillet made with all-white meat chicken that’s sure to capture the hearts and tastebuds of chicken enthusiasts across America."

Already have planned to order all three tomorrow. Will report back.

I like you man, but eating at McDonald’s is gross. Might do it on a rare occasion hungover but yuck. Makes my stomach turn.

Rogue, great to have you back and glad you're doing well - but it's always odd and extreme when posters disappear for months AND THEN rapid-fire comment on everything posted by guys who never left.

1. Welcome back.
2. Chill tfo.

Over 15 years ago, my Dad put a little Holiday Homes glorified trailer in the middle of 80 acres in Crittenden, KY after my Mom died. He had inherited the land from his Uncle and nobody had lived there for about a decade or so. There was a shitty old log cabin that was built in the early 1800s just sitting there filled with junk. Raccoons and mice had taken it over. A couple of giant black rat snakes lived in the rafters and then coyotes built a den under it.

Before my Dad moved out there, somebody asked him if they could trap coyotes. My Dad said sure.

In 2 years time, they trapped over 60 coyotes on his property.

He shoots them off his back porch ever now and then. There are plenty of those mangy assholes around.

My neighbor here in Loveland sent me a picture of one hanging out under my kids' swing set while I was at work a few years ago.

Touch Wile E. Coyote and God bless the Roadrunner. Beep beep.

To be honest, Coyotes (and many other wooded creatures) are more and more moving into the city areas because folks are increasingly moving into their territories. Not too long ago I stepped outside, at way after midnight, to take a leak, and witnessed what appeared to be a full grown deer waltzing down the street in front of my house in MID-TOWN Paducah. I would have shot it but I’m fairly certain my neighbor would have turned me in. She is a real prude.

Richie vs 73 playing against and guarding each other in pickup basketball is one of the best and most hilarious GYERO rivalries. Each player giving 200% of 70% ability. Body checks. Forearms to the face. Flying honks through the lane. Jumpers from anywhere and everywhere on the court. Each player simultaneously improving and sabotaging their team’s chances of winning.

I miss those days.

We have deer in our subdivision all the time. The Pines/Fairfield area off Freidman Lane.
I was bringing a carload of girls back from All State Choir in Louisville a few years back, and we got back to our house around 2am; turned the corner to my street and there were three deer in my front yard. As the empty lots around us have been built on, I see them less and less, and it is kindof sad.

There was also a coyote spotted walking down our streets late at night by multiple people a couple of years ago according to Nextdoor. I never saw it, but around that time my dogs were driving me nuts in a frenzy to go out in the middle of the night.

I woke up the other day with pain in the bases of both my thumbs*, and the only thing I can think of is that the night before I had done yoga, and it had included several series of planks/pushups, and I either was holding my hands wrong, or I'm just FAT.

*No, Boat. It wasn't due to THAT.

Good times. You had some heat check moments from behind the arc for sure.

You left out the part where you became so frustrated in one game when I was driving you decided to body slam me onto the hardwood. You went full on Bill Lambeer. Even the young bucks playing were like.. WTF?

Dominating Boat and BBdK in tailgate HORSE is all I got in me these days.

Tommy repeatedly trying to go between his legs while wearing khakis is one of the all time great fails. Man I miss that.

Have heard coyotes in Hamburg, glad I haven’t seen them yet. There is a Fox out here too, he’s a handsome little devil.

Never forget the sound of a coyote trailing me as I went for a run in Phoenix at night back in med school. Tap, tap, tap on the asphalt. Kept his distance but dude was straight up stalking me. Those things are fearless. My roommate showed me a video of one jumping over a 6 ft fence, grabbing a little dog, and jumping back over...tread lightly and fire at will.

1 week old today as of 10:47am. Shew, what a whirlwind. Aside from the poopy diapers and lack of sleep, I’ve loved every second of it.

We gonna get to play Florida this weekend?

That first little taste of spring yesterday was much needed. Should be enough to get me through the next week of rain.

Fishing has always been my favorite hobby. My good friend Tony is just starting to get into it. Always exciting to have a new fishing buddy.

McDonald's is better now that they've gone back to not using frozen beef. Breakfast is their crown jewel though.

Spring football starts soon. I'm expecting our defense to carry the team this year. People are jacked about the new offense, but it's going to take some time to implement, especially along the Oline. Going from inside power to outside zone is a pretty significant change in strategy.

GME doing all sorts if crazy stuff. Be interesting to watch this play out the next couple of days.

- Think IU would go Beard before Oats, especially now that Oats has signed that sparkling new extension.

- The whole customized home floor thing has gone too far. UNLV's is gross. Oregon's looks like a Rorschach test. Keep it clean and classy.

- McDonalds app had free Egg McMuffins this week with a minimum $1 purchase. Snag a $1 large Diet, free sandwich, profit.

- Wife and I finally caught "Bohemian Rhapsody" last night. Movie was all over the place in terms of direction and historical accuracy (it wasn't), but man, Rami Malek absolutely killed it as Freddie Mercury. Didn't know until last night that he left Southern California to attend the University of Evansville. Hadn't realized that UE was known for its theatre department. Thought it was just famous for sleeved basketball uni's and golf transfers.

- Saw a clip this week of Tulane, circa mid-90's. Was convinced Jerald Honeycutt was gonna be a long-time pro. He and Rayshard Allen were a great college frontcourt.

Growing up, a coyote came in our yard in the snow and the dogs cornered it. My dad was going to let me shoot it with .243 rifle but when we were getting set up it took off and he shot it on the fly, which was badass. He let me carry it home so we could bury it.

Never saw one again and I assume the dogs took it as a shame on their character that the dam thing was even in the yard to begin with.

So, yeah, I wasn't expecting to have that in common with a winja.

Agreed. And their AD isn't the one who hired Archie, so he'll have an easier time pulling the plug.

-The trophy store next to Gerstle's cracks me up. MST Awards. Place is a complete mess. Been there forever. I appreciate the now faded X letter in the window on Shelbyville Road, though.

-A mistake I made in high school was not getting a letterman jacket. I was just too cool, as you might imagine. Remember my Dad telling me it was a mistake. Well, he was right. I wish I had one hanging in my closet.

-IU will hire Chris Holtmann when they're ready, apparently. Per my IU buddies.

-I'm probably going to step in it with the college basketballs here but the thing about Cal that I really appreciate, schemes be damned, is that statistically he's a hell of a defensive coach. That goes a long way with Dad even if he can't close the F'n deal in March.

-Go Heels!
