-Seems like maybe Travis wasn't in Kentucky shape to begin the season, dude has really gotten his feet under him these last few games; dunking balls that he wouldn't have gotten 1" off the floor on a month ago, and just much lighter on his feet all around. Also, the Announcers said he's already blocked more shots this season than his entire career at Stanford? Seems like that can't be right, but pretty incredible stat if it is. Add in Hagans emergence and PJ's new dimension as a utility man, and I'm fully back in -- what a remarkable turnaround.

A big part of it is that Cal is no longer screaming at them every second - which goes hand-in-hand with him handing over more control to them. Train and Trust.

Ashton quickly moving up my list of favorite dawgs.

- Louis CK made some pretty terrible references about the surviving students of the Parkland shooting. I'm as cynical as they come, but that crosses a line.

Just checked into the OFFICIAL penn state hotel. Prob should of checked into that prior. Lots of olds.

You know what is exhausting. Being the constantly competent one to have to plan/book everything. Kudos to Cal taking time off and getting fat.

Go Cats.

Yep. Have to wonder what Clark was thinking there. Is he on drugs? Is there some personal turmoil clouding his judgement? What is it?

While he sounds crazy on this topic...his earlier post ended with him attending a holiday dinner that turned into a swingers party. Kudos to him.

Matt Jones floated Rick Pitino as a darkhorse candidate for UCLA.

On the face, that seems dumb but if you think about it, that might not be a terrible idea.

The UCLA job, like Miami football, kinda sucks. It won’t happen, but Rick Pitino would be a great hire for them (in terms of wins and losses).

That’ll be the straw, huh? Not the last 25 years?

Nah, truthfully I'd still be all-in, but I wouldn't be happy about it.

Last 25 years? They have a winning record over the last 16. Sure, no postseason wins, but we don't need to be greedy. I survived the 90's where a 2-win season was a good year.

Never forget Klingler to Query.

Hell, I'm glad to see that you're still alive tbh. Happy New Year, man!

Thinking about the Louisville game again...we've got a lot of SWAG on this team. Obviously Hagans and his defensive antics, but Herro gets a little "bouncy" when he's on, and it's enough to drive the other team absolutely crazy. Also saw him use the "3 goggles over his nuts" the other day after nailing a 3...bouncing all the way down the court celebrating. And finally there is Keldon Johnson...that kid just walks around like he is untouchable. Crazy colored shoes...Top 10 pick...bouncy...amazing shooting form. EDIT - Can't leave out PJ and his stare downs...when the rest of the team is SWAGGY, I don't mind this at all. And Travis is the rock.

I hated this team a few weeks ago, but the chemistry/swag that is developing is similar to the Fox/Monk team. And UNC was the breakout game they needed. We'll still lose a few along the way, but heading into March I like our chances. It'll be hella fun watching them.

Crushed NYE this year. Went 3 for 3 playing Clue against the wife and kids. Added bonus was my 10-year old daughter saying she’d “like to punch Christina Aguilera’s stylist in the face” for whatever she was wearing tonight on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Eve. She’d never seen Aguilera before btw.

Great day. Last chance to see Allen and Snell, and in a New Years Day bowl no less. The bball Cats are rolling. Our favorite physician is newly married.

No pumps to give out this morning, and none of you can gobble dick. Have a good one, everyone, and Go Cats!

Thanks Willy. Same to you and the rest of GYERO. Got real busy at the end of 2017 with work. Hit a professional goal and start of 2018 was a continuation of the end of 2017. Got 20 or so pages behind during a ski trip in January, tried to catch up then I was 100 pages behind. Didn’t read anything from January/February ish until the UNC win.

Moved houses in June. Much quieter street, better for kids, etc. Basically got a place that looks like Joanna Gaines did it. Anything to make the missus happy. Or whatever.

Missed checking in, but was more productive without being here countless hours a week.

*go cats

*congrats Doc

*see you all in another couple months.
