On a related note, congrats to historically average UK player Josh Allen for winning SEC Defensive Player of the Year and being a finalist for every major national defensive award for which he was qualified, as well as the only defensive player named as a finalist for the Walter Camp Award. Just think if he was actually good!

I’ve given Stoops as much grief as anyone, and was dog cussing him as recently as the Monday after the Tennessee game. But the man deserves that award. I am so happy for him and for this program.

I’m not sure what to think about Satterfield. On one hand he’s been great at App State. On the other hand, he’s never been anywhere but there. He’s a wildcard in recruiting. He could be shit, he could be great. There’s just no way to know at this point. Here’s to hoping he’s a complete disaster!

Satterfield is probably a decent choice to clean up a mess. He seems like a pretty no non-sense "culture" guy.

He seems to be a good hire if they can commit to staying the course like we did with Stoops. Unfortunately, the guy is going to be compared to Brohm the whole time who already has a 3 year head start.

Louisville fans are so weird with that "Louisville Man" thing. They have this need to immediately begin to deify their coaches to a weird extreme, and not just as coaches but as humans. You can see Mengus and a bunch of others doing it right now. They didn't know this guy existed a week ago. Suddenly he's a strategic genius and a great man.
It's one thing to get pumped up about your new coach, but for them it's not enough to say "Looks like a good coach, like the defensive stuff I see, guess we'll find out soon enough." Problem is that other than Petrino, those are the two guys they did it most with. They live from one cult of personality to the next over there.

So anybody else do the videographer for their wedding? I mean, it’s already insane what a photographer charges. They make more an hour than a learned doctor. Then on top of that, OMG you will be so happy you got it. It just costs what it costs.
