Don’t think he got expelled, but his teammates accused him of cheating and of stealing from them.

Still pissed Eddie Sutton didn't tell Sean to quit bitching about his gold chain, find an Emery envelope to pay that lawyer for his pissed in potted plant, and let Shawn Kemp dunk and impregnate women in Central Kentucky like a student-athlete should.

-Nice commitment, wondering who we're losing. I want forwards back in this order Washington, Gabriel, Vando, Richards, SKJ. Should know this week I guess.

-Add Hagans and lets go. Shooters, bulldogs, bigs, true points, 12 deep, athletes. Stacked.

-The putter came back to bite Rory yesterday. I think he'll eventually get Augusta but he'll need to do the bulk of the work Thurs-Sat.
-Like what I saw from Fowler, he's the obvious "guy without a major" right now. All his buddies have at least 1. That birdie on 18 was balls that he hasn't shown in a major before.

-Peter Sagan took Pars-Roubaix in dramatic fashion. Such panache. Best cyclist alive right now and had been taking a little heat this year because he'd only won one of the major classics. Well he settled that yesterday after attacking 54K out and staying out. Won in a break in rainbow colors, legendary stuff. Great start to Sunday for me.

-70's Friday and Saturday.

-Reed certainly deserves a major after his Ryder Cup heroics. Serious guts to keep that puppy on the rails after his start and playing Rory. Different dude, kind of douchey, certainly different than the "cool guys" club, pretty arrogant, but man he's a great golfer.

- The Masters delivered again as it always seems to do.

- Call me a homer but I really like the makeup of our team. Let’s get Washington, Gabriel and Vanderbilt back and roll.

We have vets. We have athletes. We have shooting. We have nice balance.

- Some bulldogs too- Washington, Vanderbilt, Hagans, Johnson.

- Herro is awesome. Love that dude already.

- People are sleeping on Green imo.

- Started Hulu’s Looming Towers- which is outstanding.

- Big couple months for dad. Let’s roll.

* Great weekend in the Commonwealth. Stopped by Smokin Pat's (now Smokin Lisa's -- her daughter), lunch with BBdK, got blasted at Joe's Older than Dirt, and crushed the most Joe's Older than Dirt chick ever, Blue Stallion beers and Masters with the Schems, dinner with Euge/Black Mike/my parents, and then back home. Nice little rando visit.

* Quade Green just wasn't the same after his injury, and I think he'll make an outstanding sophomore.

* Fatrick is awful, but I'm glad he got his major. He's earned it. I appreciate the fact that he's not afraid to speak his mind, and love his Ryder Cup mojo, but he's a bitch.

Good article on his weird relationship with his family.

* Not an accountant by any means, but something that people seem to frequently misunderstand about taxes....

....earning extra income doesn't push your entire salary into a new tax bracket.

The United States has a progressive income tax. This means there are higher tax rates for higher income levels. These are called “marginal tax rates” – they do not apply to total income, but only to the income within a specific range.

These ranges are called brackets. Income falling within a specific bracket is taxed at the rate for that bracket. The table below shows the tax brackets for the federal income tax.

Shohei Ohtani has been unhittable on the mound, and a beast in the batter's box. What a start to that Jap. Went 6 2/3 perfect yesterday.

* Just mailed off wcc's wedding invite RSVP. That gd thing had like 9 pieces of documents. RSVP, wedding announcement, pictures, cocktail reception invite, thin piece of cute blank paper that seemingly does nothing, Save the Date, hotel accomodations, weekend itinerary....

Affecting climate change AND leaving a gigatic carbon footprint, all in the name of marital vanity. Ugh.

* Wrestlemania yesterday set a Superdome record of > $14 million in ticket sales. The previous high was $10. Good lord, rednecks (including the attending WILDMAN).

And that shit is all over SI and ESPN like it's an actual real event. SMH.

OMG Rousey is awesome!!

Yeah I saw her act in Entourage the Movie, one of the best actors in that shit show. Figured she'd be alright... as an ACTOR.

-Cal taking recruiting back in his own hands may prove that Richie's hatred of the assistant coaches (except Payne) was justified all along. Mark another one for a "Way out in front of this" case for a GYERO'er.

-A glimmer of hope for the field when Reed's shot at the 13th hung up on the side hill and for some reason didnt roll back in the creek... That was a great round to watch.

-The Reed story with his family is sad. Surely there is more to it than the outside world is privy to but looks pretty unfortunate for just about everyone involved. Kind of sucks that it will always become *the* story each time his career hits a peak.

-In a related note, a lot of Tour golfers are probably pretty damn weird.

-About broke down reading about this bus crash in Canada. Awful.

* SGA announcing his NBA decision on SC? "EXCLUSIVE BREAKING NEWS ON SC!!! Consensus lottery-pick declares for the NBA draft." I mean, that doesn't seem very newsworthy.....o_O

* Duke didn't lose the E.J. Montgomery sweepstakes because they backed off his recruitment in recent weeks. #everysportsjournoeverywhere

* A front court rotation that includes PJ Washington + E.J. Montgomery + JVando + Wenyen + Richards + SKJ :eyes: Boy howdy, we got a lot of fouls to give. Come @ us SEC refs.

* If Mo Wagner is projected as a mid-tier 2nd rounder, I think PJ, Vando, and Wenyen (and Diallo, really) might could use another 12 months in the Joe Craft Center.

* I'm sure Quade, Baker, Quickley, Herro, and Johnson will be fine. But give me Hagans as insurance and :cool2:

* Man, f*ck Bruce Weber

As an internet and Wildcat friend forever, I'm begging you...please, don't do this to yourself.

I've assumed Wenyen is gone, that's been hinted at for a long time and I have this gut feeling that Vanderbilt might even just prefer being a free agent and trying to make at team rather than come back.

But...still a pretty nice roster.

If Washington and Vando and Richards come back then they are considered failures. SKJ and Wenyen are already failures because they came back.

I mean, I get it. We'll appear to have significant front line depth yipee but I think from 30,000 feet it's pretty effing sad to talk about the CBB product here in mid- April thanking our lucky stars we have another built-in countermeasure against a horrible 'basketball' system dripping with officiating incompetence in addition to dbag micrco-managing coaches mucking up the game to make up for the talent disparities...

BOOM TAKE THIS NCAA WE HAVE ANOTHER BIG TO COMBAT ALL THE CHARGES AND GRAB/HACK SYSTEM YOU SEEM TO ENABLE IN YOUR GLORIFIED ROCK FIGHTS HA THASS RIGHT.

So much wrong with this --- nothing against your ^ post, tho.

Can see it now, SGA will start off by saying Cal ripped his scholarship up only to have ENG waltz in press conference with said scholly taped back together.

He then hands to PJ who gives to SGA.

SGA asks PJ, "what about you Brother?"

PJ flashes megawatt smile.

Rest of team comes running in sans Knox and gives SGA and PJ their moment.

Screen begins to fade with shot of KAT's famous post LSU game photobomb going from left to right.

Everyone erupts in C A T S cheer.

* Apparently Montgomery had "concerns" about how he'd fit with the three dozen or so Duke commits who are the same height and play the same position. I was wondering when a recruit was going to figure that out.

* I kind of enjoy the budding feud between Ben Simmons and Donovan Mitchell for ROY. I have to say I'm team #BirdGang on this one.

* If the replies to Jones' tweet about the Kevin Knox KSR interview are any indication, the novelty of those has definitely worn off with UK fans. Yeesh.

* I found this funny. Desperate and sad, but funny.

Cal better figure out how to get Herro on the floor or Billy Joe Wildcat 73 is going to have the pitchforks ready. TS.

For those of us who don't Tweeter, please elaborate. TiA.

Just a bunch of folks saying stuff like "who cares," "so what," "big f'ing deal," "I hate the NBA," etc.

If it's a top 3 pick after a Final Four season, that's one thing. But when it's a top 15 pick on a disappointing 11 loss team that got beat in the Sweet 16 by Bruce Weber and the kid's dad just spent a week hinting that he may return, it's another.

-Jones twitter replies for reference to the heartbeat would be like sticking your finger up someones asshole to get their pulse. Love, Matt but that's a cesspool.

-So we're losing Washington, Vando, Williams, Gabriel, and SKJ? Also, not getting Hagans. K.

-Geese is spot on with CBB, just look at the landscape. It's not just UK, "these guys are a failure if they don't go 1&D." Kids have figured it out.

CBB:
-Is a grind and the game is not similar to the NBA, doesn't promote offense, rough and injury inducing in many leagues.
-Going International or D-League out of HS may not be the best option but after 1 or 2 years of CBB they're typically not improving their stock.
-Can't get paid or legal advice on their career.
-Can't transfer without losing a year of their career.
-Major restrictions on practice and coaching.

Why would they stick around? We've all been saying it but NCAA needs to act fast if they want to keep NCAAB worth a damn. Driving out guys like Davis, Wall, Zion, Cousins, Ayton etc might sounds righteous but good luck making a billion dollars off the NCAAT when the product looks like Conference USA. Let them hire agents, figure out how to compensate for their likeness, ads, commercial revenue, allow transfers, allow year long training and loosen restrictions on coaching, commit to making the game like the NBA or preferably International.
