Thought you were all in on Cleveland?

I'd say I'll likely go grab lunch at that market and then grab a seat at a local watering hole for the rest of the evening until we grab a big steak. Might spend more than $600, but I'm also not trying to hold on to my college and post college years as I get close to 40. I'm ok with spending hard earned money, we both crush it, might as well enjoy it. Also ok with marrying my wife and ultimately knocking her up like normal people do.

-I saw The Christmas Story house on trip adviser. Man, that would be a weird ass time. Also have no desire for the R&R HOF.

-Actually the off day in Syracuse was easily the best day. Got a good run in around he sludge lake, took a nice ride over to Cooperstown, spent the day there. It's beautiful and the weather was actually really nice. Ate lunch at a little Cooperstown pub, made fun of Adam's hat size and rolled back. Found the UK bar and stayed there. Ended up with the Beans in a weird ass honky tonk bar then a strip club/house with Bernie that had the run way in dining room and only sold Orange Crush.

Would be interested to hear Pti's breakdown of how much all these events and dinners are taking away from little George's trust fund, compounded over the next 20 years.

One of those ESPN shows (maybe Jew & Fat??) had a discussion the other day --> which coach under the age of 50 would you pick to lead your college basketball program?

If you want proof that Donovan is *not* overrated...

#1 = he's only 49 years old.

#2 = there was actually plenty of discussion about other candidates.
ohwell.r191677.gif

So, lemme get this straight.....there's some question that maybe Sean Miller is a better bet to lead your program than Billy Donovan? Based on what?

(by the way, he's all of 3 years younger than billy d =

If I'm a Wisconsin fan I'm not sure I'd even want Traevon Jackson to come back at this point. Could really mess with their chemistry this late in the year.

Yup, the not watching film/scouting reports has been going on from day 1

My dad was at a Makers function the summer 6 years ago where Robic talked about how Cal operates; how he always focuses on us and how we are playing and getting us to be the best. and really didnt give an ish about what the opponent does or worry on who to focus on, what to stop, etc.

Don't usually answer my phone when its a weird long distance number I don't recognize, usually telemarketer. This one leaves a voicemail. Turns out some Grandma trying to find her Grandson to tell him his father died
sick.r191677.gif

Called her back, tried explaining she had the wrong number, shew...

She left a voice-mail saying "Call me back, your Dad died."? Seems a bit harsh. Don't think I'd have taken that route.

"If we did what we did to teams like UCLA and Kansas without playing hard, imagine what we do playing hard. Now I'm kinda juiced. This game is going to be fun. They made it kinda personal now. I'm telling you, if you wanna watch a good game, you're gonna wanna watch this game." -Willie Cauley-Stein

Yeah, I'll never understand why so many teams have gone the shit talking route with these guys.

OY- LOOKY THERE AT THAT CROC. A GOOD 14 FOOTER WITH 17 ROWS OF RAZOR SHAAAHP TEETH INSIDE A JAW WITH ENOUGH SNAPPING VELOCITY TO SNAP A MANS HEAD OFF WITHOUT LEAVING A MAAAHK. NOW WATCH AS I STICK MY THUMB UP ITS BUTT, THATLL REALLY PISS HIM OFF

Yep. The Texas PG coming back killed them, as did Justin Anderson for UVa.

--I knew Kate Upton would reach the tipping point eventually. Obviously she's still attractive, but these Game of War commercials have done it for me. She looks a little too chubby, and something about seeing her pimp a game for 12 year old boys with the essential premise of "hey look boys, boobie cleavage! Pay us money!" is obnoxious. Has ruined trivia crack for me. And her voice is about as unsexy as they come.

Will you be my hero?

When I think of what Kentucky could do to WVU since they have been provoked today, the scene in Jurassic Park where they lower the cow into the velociraptor pen comes to mind. Start this game now please.
fighting0001.r191677.gif

Yeah Uptons voice is awful, like she smokes 2 packs a day or she is 45

Assuming we take care of business tomorrow, I think we should give WVU the same treatment we gave Hampton:

"Keep your head up"
"Sorry, didn't mean to bump into you there."
"You've got a nice little team."
"Good game"
"Excuse me"

Damn Murray State - out of the NCAA tourney due to kid from Belmont hitting an amazing shot. Knocked out of the quarters of the NIT by ODU by a kid hitting a very last second shot from about 30 ft, banks it in.

The off days in Tampa, NYC, Dallas and NOLA were AWESOME.
^ 1000% agree. I have literally had some of the best times of my life on off days during recent tourney runs. Plus, Final 4 Sunday is straight money with some of the concerts they put on, always a great night out for a baller dinner, and then hitting the bars all night with the blue mist taking over while walking around cocky as ish thinking about the next title.

I have wood just thinking about the plans I already have lined up for Indy and that weekend. This is just going to be such an epic Final Four experience. Huber Giddy!!

Zac Brown headlines Sunday's FF Concert series IIRC.

Rihanna is Saturday.

This year that Sunday is Easter. Should really take away from some of the mental stress a possible trip to the title game will bring.

Is ESPN now against UK too? I mean it's nice that an unanimous source is telling the world Cal "desperately" wants back into the NBA the same day WVU decides to start running their mouths the day before the S16.

Got a feeling some usual suspects are behind this to distract our kids........by the end of this thing who knows what other tactics (Rex Chapman style) we will be faced with. I remember coaches/parents etc using the phrase "throw the kitchen sink at them" but to see it unfold this way is getting some what alarming.

When Indianapolis hosted the Final Four in 2010, the NCAA presented free concerts at the Lawn featuring Stone Temple Pilots, Daughtry, Goo Goo Dolls, LL Cool J and Darius Rucker.

>>>>>>>Rhianna and Zac Brown. Color me unimpressed.

Got kinda screwed by the weather in Texas last year. Pretty much rained the whole time we were there.

Agree on the off days. Awesome times, strutting like peacocks.

I was at the Final Four last year. The days with games were more awesome than the days without games.

I mean, last year was Kid Rock day of. Not sure what Sunday was.

Last year in North Texas, Bruce Springsteen, Jason Aldean, Tim McGraw and the Killers performed during the free Final Four concerts. Sucks, missed all of them.

Again>>>>>>>>Rhianna and Zac Brown.

I'm with B Rax on ZBB. One of the best concerts I've ever seen, got my tix already for when they come play at Summerfest up here in June. Get past his 3 or 4 radio hits (which still aren't terrible, just overplayed) and the rest of his catalogue is great. The other musicians in the band are quite talented and he lets them do their thing during the show without making himself the center of attention.

Houston was the best concert setup for Kenny Chesney and Pat Green. We had already lost so it was turnt up. Not to crowded awesome venue.

Buffet in NOLA was cool but it was an absolute shit show.

Didn't make any last year. But the Katy Trail bars all day were amazing.

The game days are great and I love it. However, the anxiety is just a lot to handle. The carefree fun is great.

I like most of ZBBs stuff.

Springsteen wasn't part of the final four hosted events. That was a free downtown concert hosted by the city of Dallas.

Indeed. And the live show at Nick and Sam's that night

I blame losing the title on you and Sloot nixing the strip club. Even Bill Self rolled his eyes when he overheard your reasoning.

That Springsteen concert was one of the best concerts I've ever been to. Dude went for like 3.5 hours in the rain. 2012 in NOLA wasn't bad. Nothing on the level of Springsteen but just good concerts throughout. Black Keys, Mumford and Sons, Avett Bros. were all solid.

Holy Crap it sounds like the copilot locked the captain out of the cockpit and crashed that German flight intentionally.
