Grumpier old men

It’s a tough thing for me. I have no issues with folks standing up and going crazy at big plays, good runs, or toward the end of the game. But to just stand up for the whole game to stand…I don’t know. I think you have to be considerate at that point.

Well said. To me there ought to be a "standing room only" area for fans who want to stand the whole game. Nothing wrong with it.

I am 70. Started with Rupp/Nash. Memorial did not have this problem cause Rose Street side was all students with 10
More students on every row than seats. Also had the Rose Street end of the balcony. Should have NEVER LEFT Memorial.
I can't imagine the cost of tickets if the games were still at Memorial.

If the person in front of me is standing, I will stand if I can't see. If I can see around them by leaning, and the person behind me is sitting, I'll stay seated.

Just do what's best for others. Rupp will be just as loud even if you sit.

I don't buy tix to events considering the height of those around me.
There’s roughly 22,000-23,000 fans at most games. I stand a lot but I understand some people don’t and some people can’t. You have no chance to change this scenario.
