They claim it has a light presence of malt but Pacific Time is a Wooden Cask IPA that's not over citrusy, gets you there after 3 and tastes great in the KY heat. The jam bands were a blast which helped.
Dankwood is simply one of the best beers I’ve had. At 12.2 the alcohol is really well hidden.

The thing that pisses me off about ATG is that it is actually connected to the baseball stadium but you can't buy it inside the stadium. Rogue Brewery's Dead Guy Ale. 6.8% abv and it goes down smooth. The kaizer highly recommends.

Brought back a Country Boy Knotty Pine Double IPA from Lex. Purchased at Liquor Barn Express on Broadway, corner of New Circle Road. Harsh. Great buzz, but otherwise unimpressive. Still not impressed by Country Boy.
Skipped the beer tonight , poured a double of Belvanie (Sp ? ) Caribbean aged scotch
I gotta tell y'all. I hit up 3 breweries in Lex last week in Lex (Blue Stallion, Mirror Twin and Pivot). It was hot as hell due to the humidity. I rode my folding bike from Days Inn on Broadway near I-75 because I refuse to drive when drinking. Young gal at Pivot offered me a glass of cold water with my beer. I killed three of 'em with my beer. That's service. Stellar service. I gave her a good tip, too.
Still love Lex. Could not appreciate the old houses on 3rd St. way back in the day, but I surely miss the culture up there now.

Stone Totalitarian Imperial stout. 10.5% ABV. Roasty. Malty. First taste is rather boozy. Tremendous improvement as it warms. Great kick.

I admit that picking one or two of these in a make-your-own- six would make for a fantastic evening.

I've never been a fan of Ky Ale stuff, but their peach barrel wheat is damn good. It tastes like it's got a fairly high % and the peach goes good with that. Best KY Ale I've ever had.
Martin House Magnolia Malt Liquer. 8.7% ABV. Smooth and malty. Lightly sweet. Underrated, in my opinion.

I have to agree. Against the grain is an excellent brewery and one of my favorite Louisville spots.
Had another bourbon barrel aged Quad from Boulevard by the fire last night out in the yard looking at stars . Man that stuff is great .
Is it still seasonal? Thought i read a while ago it was going to be year round.
I had 2-3 in the fridge for 2 months , my supply store said it doesnt move that well , but hey it isnt bud light .
I'm not complaining .. At all , the craft beer snobs like me are drinking up the kegs of any Sixth Sense Brewing Co Murk Juice release ( Murk Juice , Murcimus Juicimus , Tropical Murk , MurkShake etc etc ) in town within 5-7 days . These NE IPA's are unlike any I've even had . crazy good . So if they want to pass on the Quad - fine by me .

Don't sleep on the Sierra Nevada Sidecar Orange IPA. It's good, 6.8% and the price is right at Kroger.
Cigar City finally made it to Kentucky as of last Friday. Was a bit shocked to see Jai Alai and a couple others in the cooler at Ye Olde Liquor Barn over the weekend.
Dogfish Head Liquid Truth Serum. Tropical. Somewhat piney. Citrusy. Lightly sweet. Canned 16 oz. tallboys. Great summer buzz.
