Cal plays it up in the Media, always has and always will. PR hound
I was unaware that I was jumping the gun so I assume I don't have the full story. I received two messages the first one said Z is suiting up and then a follow-up message a few minutes later it said don't say anything yet. That's why I took it down. My exuberance was more than my confidence level so I should have waited so I am sorry to have screwed things up
Apparently, its taken the NCAA and SC Derby 16 weeks to communicate with each other multiple times by carrier pigeon. That's the reason for the delay.
Okay, I'll agree Dave is a good poster. But uh, he's been wrong on stuff for years now. Hopefully he got good info.

I'm afraid it's going to end up being this...Dave Baker reported saturday during the pre-game that Z had been granted a waiver to practice w/ the team while his case remains under review. Sorry DK...

Marvin had that same birth mark the kid does too.
If you look at their pics side by side you can see resemblance.

I did hear a little something from a sports journalist who’s a friend of mine. But I won’t share it because he actually frequents the board and if he wants it shared then he can. It’s not definitive but the path to his eligibility is a little rugged. I just don’t see it happening this year. But fingers crossed that they can get it done
And just how many times have you been right or shared any information from the infinite amount of sources you surely have? If you get information from any source there is a chance they might be wrong, so what if they are? It happens. Could maybe you just take everything with a grain of salt and realize it could change? Or is it more fun to crush a guy who was nice enough to share what he heard? I'm just generously curious why people take it upon themselves and go out of their way to be pricks for no reason. I mean good for you. Glad making fun of him makes you a better man than me.

Yup this board has some on here that will call you out if you have said the incorrect last name, misspelled something, if you have a source and it turns up incorrect. Just does not make any sense. If you hate everything people post then go get your info somewhere else. If you hate everyone and everything then just stop posting. This place has become stupid with some of the posters.

There are a few for sure. But when someone has posted info that turns out to be wrong, it’s going to happen. Especially when they keep posting how certain they are (not that Dave was doing that, just saying, some do). I don’t ever make it a personal thing.

It's hard to get info from the program these days. Matt has said it, Kyle Tucker has said it, I think Jack and others have said it too. Info is HIGHLY controlled. Which makes when Cal has a PR gaffe all the more puzzling.
After all he should have had more court time with the team than either of the other two.
I don't understand it I guess. I remember when ortho shared some info he got regarding cal. It turned out to be incorrect by the end of the season. Very well could have been correct when it was told to him. Or maybe by the time his source got the info it had changed kinda like the whisper game in grade school. Anytime someone shares something I always take it with a grain of salt. Anything can happen. If it turns out to be incorrect, oh well. I have no sources so it's better than my uneducated guessing. The people that just get their rocks off by making fun of people who share stuff must be a lot cooler than me. Too much of a temptation to keep scrolling and not be a jerk.
Yea we did. Admissions were not being the most cooperative. NCAA couldn't even start the eligibility process until he was admitted.
I'll admit I got Cunningham wrong but to this day I don't feel it was unjustified what I said. I will reveal my source was the father of a player on the same team at Montverde. I will forever stand on my stance that Cunningham verballed to Calipari immediately at the end of Madness and had set up with coach Boyle for a decision day which would have been the Tuesday after Madness. I know this is true to the bottom of my heart. However when the kid's father demanded Cal meet him in Florida which took away Cal's time at a speaking event I knew there was going to be an issue and it turned out that blood was thicker than water. The reason I didn't soften my stance in social media platforms at that point in time was because I knew Cal was still trying to persuade the family that Kentucky was and should be his choice.
Cal gave up the pursuit before I knew that he had done so. Instead he settled for Devin Askew, but I stuck with the idea that Cade could persuade his family that UK was his choice and he was going to go there. Well you know it didn't happen
