Pretty much. Probably more entertaining to watch some hacks at Top Golf w/ a bucket of brews.

Sometimes you wonder how such dumbass ideas gain enough traction to get put on TV as entertainment What's next, a televised pinball league?

Well, they do show cornhole, pickleball, darts, axes, and a few other snooze fests, so evidently nothing is off the table.

Only way I would watch that shite would be if I was in a straight jacket sitting next to Jack Nicholson in the asylum in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's nest

Get Rory and a few more bigger stars on, it will be "better" but do not know how long it will last. Probably opposite of everyone, but liked the simulator shots better than actual live chip and putts. Ricky with glasses was unwatchable, kind of like his swings.

30 minutes of watching Kyle Berkshire on youtube on the range and in a sim hitting 450 yd drives and 300 yd 8I >>>>>>>>>>>>> TGL.

YouTube golf in general is more entertaining than any PGA or LIV event. Initially, I was a doubter but have grown to like it.

Was a bit surprised that LIV did not pick off another name PGA player or two in the off season, Hidecki and Adam Scott were mentioned as potential candidates. May still happen I suppose but not so far.

IMO, there may be two reasons related to one another:

1. Maybe the Saudis have decided to cut off the ocean of cash to purchase new stars until LIV can show it can at least get a decent TV deal and show some market penetration with its product. It has whiffed so far on those two metrics at least. As many have said, even the Saudis will get tired of throwing money into a fire.

2. Clearly, the PGA was forced to up its financial game, especially for the top stars, to where the money is so good for the elite players, and they have so many opportunities to play in elevated events, that jumping to LIV is not the no brainer it was a year or two ago. I think Scheffler made $57M last year on the PGA tour, and Rory already has more money than his grandchildren will ever spend, so it hardly makes any sense for guys at the very top of the PGA food chain to jump to LIV.

It is also possible that LIV is still negotiating with the PGA and a deal will be reached soon, but have been hearing that same song and dance for 18 months now, and no one seems to think anything will happen in the near future.
