Not surprising, a WR is getting 2m to go to OM, Which isc500k more than he asked. 2 schools started bidding. You know who is paying the Wash. St. QB the 3m? If I am guessing Oregon.
Yeah, but Brock was considered a great get by virtually everybody. Who were they going to get that was better and had a better pre-season pedigree?
This bidding war will tell us if OU is a serious player in SEC. They can’t be outbid here. It is a plug and play QB.
Brock was a great get. Hand picked by coen. All the physical tools needed. A much more advanced but physically less gifted will levis.
The oc nor nil loyalty to barion did him any favors. Just as it did the year before, our offense looked way better when we weren't trying to force brown touches.
But everyone will disparage Stoops as if he could contact the Cougar QB...
I do not agree that Brock was more advanced than Levis. Will had real game experience and led his PSU team to a victory. Brock had mop up experience. I do not see how BC was more advanced.
From a position standpoint, the early bv games were more advanced than any game levis played at uk.
Early on, bv went through progressions, moved in the pocket, and delivered anticipation throws to the right guys at the right time. Levis never once had a single game nearly as good as bvs ole miss game. Again thats from a purely position standpoint.
Under coen, levis was one read and run. Under scang they cut the field in half and had him read a conflict defender. When asked to read even the single conflict defender, levis struggled often holding the ball till he got sacked. Levis never at any point made an anticipation throw.
Bv fell apart late in the season and that needs examined from a coaching aspect. It needs examined because a player shouldn't erode like he did. Maybe it was injuries, forced touches, lack of confidence, rotating in wimsatt, some combination, or something else entirely. Whatever the reason, when he started the season he was mentally much more advanced than levis was at any point.
What I read was his agent or whoever had talks with schools before he entered and UK was one of them. This guy can almost where ever he wants. UK doesn’t have the Offense to attract a guy like this. Whether they pony up and give him the 3 million he supposedly wants.
