Millions (maybe even billions) of taxpayer dollars were poured into many of these green companies by Obama and then Biden and a lot of those companies went belly up shortly afterwards with nothing to show for it and the money gone. Out of context. Turning the other cheek is in reference to believing in Jesus and trying to live like him. If you profess it and someone slaps you for it you show them the other cheek. It has nothing to do with politics or worldly arguments which would allow us to be walked on.
Yes, the bible clearly sets out an exception for politics and worldly arguments. In fact, the lord’s prayer has a footnote that says trespassers ( except for politics and worldly issues then gloves off).

Off topic, but righteousness and religion are distinct concepts, as are turning the other cheek and forgiveness. In the culture, turning the other cheek was not a passive move, but invited your attacker to engage in greatly offensive behavior. For the swinger to swing again to the other cheek would be a great embarrassment to the person swinging.
